Yesterday was a rather eventful day. Unfortunately.
I log into ebuzzcafe.com and immediately get this PM from "Pinknails" Lynette who happens to own the Belle Vie Nails store at Far East. She threatened to sue me for defamation of her store. as i was reading it i almost laughed! The following is her letter to me:

Hi Shoppa/ Pamela,

I have sent you an email via Ohgenki, but I havent gotten any reply from you. Im not sure if you received it.

Seems like I had to open an account here at Ebuzz, and write you a PM.

I have friends who are active in various forums and someone told me she read that you wrote a few not so nice things in one thread. The one about my shop.

Yes, I remember that time when you came to my shop for a manicure. If you are really so into manicures, have been to many nail places, and you know when someone has done a shitjob for you like you so claim, then surely you must know a classic manicure plus french cant possibly cost only $10. But you and and your friend paid me $10 each and tried to leave.

I am sorry, but I had to stop you and take $20 more from you. My classic FRENCH mani costs $35, I couldnt accept $10 for that svc.

You didnt look too happy when you left, I noticed.

But I certainly do not appreciate that you chose to slam me and my shop here in this open forum. I could post this entire thing, in the forum thread itself, but I figured I dont want to be so nasty, and send you a PM instead.

You are invited to my shop to get a free manicure, to make up for the "shitjob" I did. You have nothing to lose. I have something to prove, I dont file crooked nails and I dont do "shitjobs".

If you have nothing further to say, I would suggest you remove the things you posted in that thread, or say you made a mistake, it wasnt the same shop. Or something like that.

My business partner happens to be a lawyer, and we will take legal action against you for defamation, if nothing on your part is done. I cannot allow someone to slam me/ my shop based on horseshit.

My offer for the free manicure still stands. U can call me anytime at 90** ****.

Pamela, if I dont hear anything from you in one week, you will be hearing from my lawyer.

Surely you didnt expect to say things like that, and not have any consequences?

HAHA so much for the 'not wanting to be so nasty' and winning the award for fastest flip flopper ever to grace the nail industry.

Firstly, i would like to clarify that money is NOT the issue. I've paid a lot more than $30 to get my nails done. If i remember correctly i paid $15 initially because Rachel and I wanted an express manicure, but then i realized when Lynette asked for more, she had given us a classic and i ended up paying $30. And shes right, i couldn't tell the difference between her classic and other stores express. Just a suggestion, but maybe she needs to fix that too.

Also, she has no rights to say that what i said is untrue because i only stated what happened to me which was 100% true. i did not go around saying she screws everyone else's nails over or ask for a boycott.
She filed my nail crooked and the French manicure lasted like a day before chipping. and my friends SAW!! and Rachel's whole thumb nail was screwed up but shes just to nice to say anything. Also because it was Lynette's assistant who did Rachel's nails.

Furthermore, in regards to the thread, i didn't start flaming her person or her store. If anyone capable of reading English, read the thread, they'd understand that i was flaming another girl with possible split personality "Honeypot" (A girl who had also stole someone's identity from Friendster, of all places! *scoffs*). She says its impossible that i got bad service there because shes always had good service there and tries to play my nail chipping off on household chores and the amount that i type?! What kind of crack is she smoking! i don't do household chores and any good manicure will not start chipping after a day. (She later wants to argue about maturity and age with Butterfly. HAHA)

Seriously, people in the service line should learn to take negative feedback. You can't seriously expect everyone to be happy and sue the ones who aren't!! *rolls eyes*

She also offered to give me a free manicure to prove herself or whatever. and I told her that i had no nails to file at the moment (and yes many people can back me up on that too). Ridiculously, she accuses me for not wanting to go because I'm losing face?! (haha am I supposed to sue her for defaming my name now?) HELLO, I am NOT the one losing face here. And EVEN if i did have nails to file, i wouldn't go back!

She later states " Its pointless to keep arguing anymore. I have made myself clear, and you can think whatever you like, Shoppa. I dont give a shit anymore." and "Perhaps I should have just kept my mouth shut all this while. Then everybody will be happy.
I am very very tired over this whole hooha. Can we stop talking about it please?"

haha OMG, don't mind while i roflmao!! I wasn't the one that brought it up in the first place! you screw someones nails over, threatens to sue her for complaining publicly about them, then later say you're tired over all this hoo ha?

The most amusing thing happened earlier today when Mike, (her brother) who had heard about it came to apologize (what a sweetie) to me! HE even thinks its her fault. haha and that honeypot might be her too!! (but butterfly said Jeremy said its not, but one can never be too sure eh?) Anyway he was apologizing for introducing her store to me in the first place. Don't apologize for other's stupidity dear :)
