    Thursday was National Day! Happy Birthday Singapore!

    Honey and Me! (take note of my nails painted specially to match my outfit :D)

    But daddy says that its not really national day. Its just a day to celebrate the beginning of our "dictator's" rule. LOL Then he was not very happy with me for dressing up for it (even worse when I said the flashlight star was free with donation -.-" he says the government sucks so much money already and now people volunteer to donate more...)

    Anyway, Albert was bringing Baby to the fireworks, so he gave me and Phy a ride to town :D
    It was around 4+ then and super crowded already! Phy and I got NDP hats, flags and stars LOL. Its pretty awesome cuz the stars have 3 different light modes :D

    Yay!! You know you want a star (--,)

    You should have seen the Bangalas though...they were grabbing flags by the handful =.- I have no idea what for either...I mean, just cuz they're free? LOL what would they do with them after? Its not even the Indian flag or something. LOL (But then come to think of it, they probably went back to their living quarters to celebrate burning it, cuz they're over worked and underpaid. -.-" lol)

    After much walking and hunting, we met up with Jerome, Honey, Shan and Gary! (We had asked them to order Subway sandwiches "to go" so we could eat at our destination :D yay! i love Subway!) The Popo started sealing off the esplanade area because of the crowd -.- And after MUCH more walking, we ended up at the field near the esplanade.

    It was super crowded but we got a rather good spot for firework viewing :D They were beautiful!! My favorites are definitely the big ones that sparkle after their explosion. Heehee I do wish they had the smiley faced ones though (--,)

    Waiting for the fireworks to start!After the show, Gary and Phy left, so the rest of us went to Hong Kong Cafe! We had baked rice, tea, noodles and this crazy mountain of ice. LOL The night was super entertaining and I think I could sit there laughing forever :D

    Now, its time for a story.............

    Once, there was a tall, beautiful, delicious mountain of flavored ice.
    So beautiful it could only be licked....
    But one day...a rather...curious girl decided to take a big bite out of it...Alas! It was so tasty, she asked her friends along to eat the big, tall mountain of ice! They ate until there was a hole you could see right through to the other end! They ate until the hole was so big they dared not scoop further...

    Unfortunately, the girl went for one more bite....and the mountain of ice crumbled beneath her excavation :(The people who loved the mountain blamed its downfall on her....but were glad they had an excuse to eat the rest of the mountain (--,)
