Yay I'm feeling so refreshed after my long "nap"! LOL Its now 5am =x

Anyway, Monday was the first day of work! It wasn't too bad, the job isn't too hard, just tedious. We have to update data and its back dated to like 2001 -.-" I was like.....13 years old? LOL But Phylaine finally was able to bring me to the prawn noodle store she says is the best ever on beach road. She was right! It is pretty darn good. Their soup is delicious and flavorful! (Though I think my favorite prawn noodle store across the street from my house can compete) I would rate it as high-end coffee shop at $5 for a bowl and 1 drink. Definitely a go back to store though!

Yay our desks are together!

Since our lunch is an hour and we only take about 20 minutes to walk over and eat, we wandered through our favorite Arab street! Everything is so interesting there. Its like all the odd things of the world you'd probably didn't even know exist is there. All the bead stores are glorious and reminds me of the time I use to enjoy making stuff *loves* Maybe I shall start again! We also visited the costume store on Aliwal St for fun! and ideas for Halloween (--,) That was interesting. Its so much nicer to visit that place when its not over crowded, missing half their stock and seeing staff running around like crazy people.

After work, I got my nails done! The usual Thai store was closed *sadded* so I went to the big China one, one floor down. Normally, If my favorite whatevers aren't available, I'd just wait for a better time. But this was an emergency!! One of my nails had broken all the way and another had cracked! So I had to extend one, patch another and get a new coat of paint. I'm telling you, being a girl is so troublesome. The boss was doing my nails and I was quite happy because the extension turned out very well (though 1 extension was $9!!!!) and the painting was done well also.......until one of her staff comes running in saying (In chinese) "Wahhh!! One of the stores around the corner is selling shoes for $3!! there is a small selection but its so cheap! faster go buy!" So, like any other sane woman, my manicurist went to go check out the shoes....BUT told her assistant (I think still in training) to do my top coat. OMG unacceptable! The top coat is like one of the most important things and hers came out streaky! I mean, when you stroke a nail it should be smooth, not bumpy. *unhappies* So I have to do a topcoat by myself which almost-but not quite, defeats the purpose of me going in the first place. Also, the next day, the cracked nail cracked again. Apparently she didn't glue it well enough. So, I had to fix that too -.-" Maybe it was a plot to have it break all the way so I'd have to get another extension!

Laterwards, I had dinner with Pingy and Phy at our favorite fishball store (Soon Kee Huat) behind Parco Junction. Food there is always very satisfying and cheap! Then, we brought Pingy to shishaaaa!! Mosi Cafe this time to see our friend Dipak! Jay, his master and apprentice came down to join us later. They were.......interesting =) lol

Tuesday! Work again! Phy was late cuz she was sickly, poor baby. But came to work in time for lunch (--,) Fish soup this time, but I really hate it when they put fried foods into soup. It makes it all soggy! The bowls were so big we both couldn't finish -.-" Next time, we share a bowl!

After work we went shopping with Grace (needed retail therapy)! The thing about working so close to a shopping area, is that you just don't stop shopping or eating or needing to just hang out since you're already in town. LOL I don't know if its a good or bad thing! We had dinner at one of the new food stalls in the basement at Parco. I believe its called Fish...something I forget what but they specialize in Fish and chips! Ironically, all of us had chicken. hahaha But it did look more appetizing than the fish on the display! Very delicious, very filling, ok pricing-about $10 a set ;)

After dinner was more shisha!!! OMG I think I've been shishaing too much recently! I go through my blog and all I see is shisha!! It will slowly take over the world!! muahahaha!! We were having a very nice time camwhoring (plus I took a nap-sorry! it was like 5 minutes-I was exhausted!) and smoking!........Until this weird Indian guy comes over and says "hi" so I was like "hi" back. I mean, It didn't even occur to me it'd instigate anything, I thought he was passing by because people do it all the time! But noooo, this guy loiters around and sits at the table in front of our carpet and orders a drink. Phy was in the restroom, so Grace and I were all weirded out, Phy comes back and is like wth? Then the guy tells us he hasn't smoked shisha before and asks if he could join us. WTF? Can you say thick skinned?? I'm not sharing a mouth piece or carpet with some weird stranger man trying to hit on me and my friends while we're enjoying ourselves! So I was like "No thanks, we're leaving soon" and he kept going on about never trying it before and said he ordered another. So I was like "good, you should try your own" Then I went to the restroom. When I came back, Dipak came over and was like, "Yeaaa I think he likes Pam"
I'm like, "OMG gross can you ask him to sit at another table"
And he was like, "Oh, I don't think he's coming back, so you should take his shisha"
HAHAHAHA Apparently, while I was in the restroom, Phy had been a bit aggressive in insisting he couldn't join us, so he left without even touching the Shisha he ordered (but paid for it). Yay! free shisha!!! =x

The kitty that visited us!

Wednesday was a very lonely day at work. Phy was sickly again and I was left by myself! I had lunch at my desk- alone- because I can't handle eating alone in public =x its so loserish! Though I did finally find where the Pantry is! LOL I was actually just looking around for a socket so I could charge my phone =x hahahaa.

That night, after much rest, Phy was better and we went to Dbl O! Totally unhappening night. The usual WG people were there-though not as many and the place was much emptier than usual. Also, the door bitch at Dbl O almost bounced me out because I'm not 20 for another 5 months. Hello, all the door bitches stopped checking me because they see me almost every week! Well, I guess shes called a door bitch for a reason. LOL My favorite door bitch is at O bar because shes hott and friendly =D. Though the night was unhappening-as in the music wasn't that great and the people weren't exciting, I don't think I've ever told so many people that I'm lesbian in one night! LMAO!! There was absolutely NO hott guys or girls!! (except me and Phy of course! And ok, maybe 1 guy who was dancing with a pig-like looking girl (ok karma karma =x but Phy said it first!) but his friend was cute because when a weird guy came up to hit on Phy he said next time she could just say hes her bf. hahaha) My highlight of the night was at Dbl O sitting down. We were drinking and a guy comes up to talk to Phy. Being quite tipsy, I let her handle it herself till quite awhile later, I noticed he was still talking. Well, friends don't let friends talk to ugly people! So I grabbed her waist and told him, "Shes my girlfriend man, don't talk to her" Then hid behind her boobs snickering and trying not to make it look like we were laughing. LOL karma =x *touchwood* Platform people were crazy too! I absolutely hate people who try to squeeze on when there is obviously no more space. Or the crazy white people who can't dance and ass-bumped me off the step (hopefully by accident). LOL

Thursday we hauled our super tired booties to work. I think I can pass out from boredism. We had Young Tau foo from the popular store in the cafeteria downstairs. Their chili is damn nice! We also made some lunch buddies from the 15th floor while we were "hanging out" outside th building during our break. LOL Other than that, nothing too exciting. I came home to plop on my bed and sleep!!! (I slept at 8 =x) and am able to blog at this absurd time because theres no work this Friday!! woo hoo!
