Happy National Day loves! It's Singapore's 43rd (i think) year! I wish for this country to have better years to come and may the cost of living decrease! =x

Monday I went to see The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor with Jayce! We had dinner at the Plaza Singapura food court, which had this Indonesian barbeque that I didn't know existed. LOL Apparently its pretty popular as the line was quite long, but Jayce said the wait is worth it-plus she had a craving. Pam says its not bad! I'd go back but ask for lesser sauce because it was quite sweet ;)

The movie was pretty ok. Not as good as I'd hoped.....And I think that Rachel Weisz is so much hotter as Evelyn (leading lady) than the new Maria Bello. Though the acting was still good on her part ;) Story line was a bit more dull and a bit predictable. Pam rates this movie 2.88/5

Oh and I got the cutest mosquito bite in the morning!! The mosquito bit me with love!! hehehe

I swear I did not tweak it or anything! I just looked down at the itchy spot and it was there! It must be because I'm sweet! muahahaha! =D

Tuesday I went to the gym with Jeremy! We went to the Tampines gym for a change. That place looks so much bigger and nicer than the Bedok gym. I like where the treadmills are placed because it allows the jogger to look into the tampines swimming complex. lol I'm such a stalker. The only thing bad about this gym is that its like 5x more crowded than the Bedok gym and you actually have to wait a bit to use the machines. The staff and personal trainers are still really nice though =D

Side note: Jeremy broke the cycling machine!!! bwahaha!!
Also: HK cafe at the Tampines CC only has staff from China -.- Go figure right LOL

Wednesday I went to Dbl O with Phy, her friend Ray (I think that was his name lol feng shui) and Kev. We also bumped into Jayce!....who was wearing polka dots! AND THEN SHE HUGGED ME! (ok, my bad I didn't realize what she was wearing till after too) OMG everyone who knows me knows I HATE polka dots because they're seriously unlucky! You can say I'm paranoid but I can recount every bad thing thats happened when I came into contact with polka dots in the past.......This time, I fell down the stairs at O bar. I kid you not! In my favorite pointed brown heels (because it was one of the 4inch ones I could actually run in) as I was walking down the 2 steps I just collapsed! I couldn't tell if I fell because my shoe broke or my shoe broke because I fell -.- Either way it was embarrassing. I had to stick my shoe back with clear bandaids (thank god Phy's feet hurt earlier and bought bandaids =x) temporarily for the next hour or so. TO HELL WITH POLKA DOTS!!! ROARRR!!!

Thursday I had dinner with Eileen, Grace, Vincent and Jeremy at Phin's Steakhouse! I have such smart friends! They somehow read my mind that I was craving for steak! muahahaha I'm a red meat woman!! I hadn't had steak in the longest time!! ahhhhh *burps* *happies*

Friday was Devil's night! "Devil's night" is the night before Singapore's national day. It started a few years back when people realized that there were lesser cops on the street the night before the national day parade as the cops were resting before a full day's shift. Humans being humans will take advantage of that to be rowdier and create a ruckus! hahaha

It just so happened that Friday was also 8/8/08! For the chinese culture, 888 is a very extremely lucky number! Huat ar!!! Soooo since I've been wanting a tattoo, it just seemed right that I get it done on 8/8/08! The tattoo was carefully chosen with a lot of thought. I like tattos with meaning. Mine is a star with my sign in it. Stars are my favorite shape and represent good luck for me. My sign I believe-represents me and my character.

I met Phy at Far East Plaza for lunch. We had ramen at RamenTen. I reccomend everyone to stir their soup first! I didn't know I was supposed to stir so half my soup wasn't spicy and the other half almost made my nose bleed! lol but it was still delicious!

We bought new friendship bracelets!
(we switched from purple and white to purple and black! maybe now it wont look so dirty! lol

After, we headed to the 4th floor and picked the purple store (they had my favorite color in my favorite shade on their walls! I figured it was a sign!). I cent remember the name now but my tattoo artist's name is Yus! He designed my tattoo while I was being annoying asking "first timer" questions and then some. lol "what was the wierdest tattoo you've ever done", "have you had any complaints about your work" etc etc. hahaha I'm surprised he didn't shoot me. He and his friends/coleagues were really friendly though. I was panicking throughout the whole thing! I think I bit the chair and my lip so hard I could've eaten it. hahaha I hate pain though and It was too painful for me! But I figured half a tattoo would look ridiculous. THe pain is like someone scratching you or a bee sting -.-" Anyway, it turned out beautiful!! and I love it! The star is blinging and I think its totally my character! hehehe For an appointment, call 90218243!

After being inked, Phy and I went shopping! We went to Cotton on Body to buy bras! hehehe! I needed new ones anyway!! One of them I bought is a 12D! Ohh myyy gawddd!! Since when did they get so big?! I think Australian people must have small boobs. lol And I had to get a cup bigger anywaybecause it was a push up lol. But its really pretty! I love lace! And just because I felt abit too happy, I bought a dress at Pull and bear! hahaha *happy to the core!*

Went home to nap for awhile and watch the opening of the Olympics! hehehe some athletes are really hot. Went to Loyang temple where Gary and a few others wanted to pray (8/8/08 again) and had dinner at Changi village! In the end I think 9 people showed up! Lev, Lun, Seb. Wayhow, Gary, Jeremy Phy and Kev! OMG! crazy people! We later went to East Coast Park to play at the arcade, sit at the beach and eat breakfast! hahaha long day, fun stuff!

Now I have to wait till new years eve -.-) Shan, Jerome and Jer came over for dinner and movies! hehehe I did get to see the parade and fireworks on tv, but its just not the same! and who knew the national anthem was so long. lol But I had fun anyway! We had so much food! lasagne, hot and sour soup, popcorn chicken, potato wedges, ice cream and pizza! what gluttons! I foresee more running at the gym. eek! haha love you guys!
