Okayyy I haven't disappeared.....not really at least lol. 2 week recap while I have time! ;)
2 Tuesdays ago, Phy and I woke early to go for our Wine for Asia event briefing at Swissotel. It was kinda boring after we tried on our uniforms because our boss found it appropriate to give us a 2 hour lecture on grapes. Even Ling (smaller boss) sent Phy a message saying she was falling asleep! hahaha I loved her!
We wasted some time at Bugis looking at Halloween accessories and to waste even more time, I watched Phy get her hair rebonded for 3+ hours. ZZZZZZzzzzZZ Fact: Only your best friend would sit in a salon and watch you get your hair done for 3 hours! When the time came, I left for dinner with Henrik at Vivo! We hung out until the security guard told us they were closing. hahaha funnn :D

Thursday was the first day of Wine for Asia with my girlies at Suntec from 10am-6pm! Our jobs were to walk around getting surveys, pulling people to the booth and carrying signs. (The company was Linden Resources-Portuguese wines) It was totally fine until the big bosses started getting anal. The dress code were heels with our uniforms (don't even get me started on how ugly those were!! I'm pretty sure a man shopped for them!) and they wouldn't let us sit down!! OMG I would seriously love to see those fat men teeter on heels for 8 hours without sitting down!! roarrr!! And apparently we were supposed to walk around being friendly but only to potential customers. Because......we were told off for talking to people at other stalls. I don't know.........maybe I'm bad at it, but when I socialize I find it good to be friends with everyone (also because they won't be so unfriendly if we steal customers =x)!!! It'd be so fake if we were only friendly to potential customers! We also learn more by talking to other wine dealers- and at the other Portuguese stall, Phy and I learned Portuguese!!!!

The second day of Wines for Asia (Friday) was as good as the first. There were the usual strange people who hit on us like we aren't being paid to be friendly to you hahaha. Phy and I found this "slack" place in the back with tables and chairs though. Every once in awhile we'd take a few minute break so sit. Let me make it very clear that we are NOT usually like this!! We only did it because our legs we're about to fall off due to abuse! Our bosses even started spying on us. WTH. There's only so many people we can pull when the first 2 days of the event is by private invite duhhhh.

The funniest part of the day was sometime in the morning when we were tricked into drinking vodka!! LOL I mean, its common for people to ask us to taste their wines or have a glass with them, so we didn't find it strange when these Russian people (who couldn't speak English at all) asked us to try their drinks. I'd have to admit, it was a bit suspicious when they took out plastic shot glasses, but in my defense- at church they put the "wine" for "the lord's supper" (also known as communion) in those plastic shot glasses! 0=) PLUS we were at a WINE fair! not a vodka fair!! Anyway, we had like 6 shots each and the alcohol levels were like 40%, 50%, 60% LOL at least that made the morning go faster and funner! hahaha
In the evening, we went to my place to bake the final cupcakes with Honey and Yao for Honey's birthday!! Due to some...uhmmm....unknown technical errors, a big batch was ruined and set us back 3-4 hours. I totally fell asleep around 5am, but poor Honey and Yao were baking and frosting till like-7!
Apparently, more love doesn't make better cupcakes!

We were also totally banned from talking to the people at the other Portuguese stall, banned from sitting and banned from the Russian stall among other bannings. LOL On top of that, we also found another mini shady spot in the front to rest because we knew they were looking for us in the back. hahaha. Best spot everrr!! Before the fair ended, we bought like 10 bottles of vodka because they were like $10-20 a bottle! omg!! If I had more arms I'd buy more! hehehehe
Oh and just in case u were wondering, on one of the days I was late to work and was running until I fell up the escalator! -.-" I don't know how I always manage to do things like that!
After the fair, we rushed to Bugis to pick up some accessories for our Halloween costumes!! Then went to Tan's to drink! (Onlyyy I fell asleep at Henrick's when I went to pass him vodka and check out his and Lasse's costumes lol) All I have to say is, I've never seen Kevin so obnoxiously drunk before and what the hell is up with vodka carrot juice?! LOL
We then got dressed and headed to the Halloween Rave Underground party!! I was a Pirate! the secret location was a chalet so it was pretty much one ginormous house party! I had so much fun! Gio (my hero) was pretty drunk and kept giving us free beer! hahaha. Love it! There were so many people and so many great costumes. I Love Halloween!!!

Sunday I went to Honey's 21st Birthday! It was at the Aranda Country club and the theme was back to school. She had the best cake everrr!!! It was like a tower of cream puffs! Mmmmmm so delicious! The food was not bad either or maybe I was just hungry. lol and our beautiful cupcakes were on display!! *happies* I also got my hand bruised because we were playing cards "heart attack" and Angela hit it!! My advice to you as much as I love her: Don't mess with that woman! hahaha

Until I noticed all the police around and the police tape and looked further and there was a pool of blood right in front of the door! *gasp* I took a picture of it before they started letting people in again. LOL
Thursday I met Phy at Bugis for some shoppings! we bought shorts and skirts and eyelashes! I went to the Raffles Town Club to work for IBC! Its that time of the month again! lol The people are so friendly there! They always make sure I have enough drinks and am comfortable. LOL (Though I didn't get fed till late that night)

Yesterday I went to Orchard with Angela, Henah and Rachel!! I thought we were shopping but it was just a trick to go check out all the Ipod stores. LOL but it was ok because we saw House Bunny!! Its such a great movie!! Except the girls sitting to my right were stupid because they were making dumb comments about the bunny. Seriously, the woman is not THAT dumb in real life! And plus, I thought a lot of her comments were cute! Pam's rating for this movie is 4.3/5 chick flick!!!
