2 week update! and a Happy belated Thanksgiving! The days pass so fast its already December!!

Last last Monday, was pretty eventful. Either that or I just can't remember. hahaha but I'm pretty sure we didn't do anything crazy you need to know about ;)

Tuesday was shisha night! We went to the Hardrock cafe on Orchard for dinner before! The food portion was incredibly big! (ok, just bigger than the average Asian size i'm used to getting now) It was nice though. The nacho platter was ginormous. I liked all the cheeses on it *loves* Environment wise, was okayyyyy. The heavy blue lighting was super pretty at first but after awhile kinda gave me a headache. Plus it seems like a place to celebrate one's birthday. There was such loud singing and banging every 5 minutes over the rock and roll that you can hardly hear yourself talk or refrain from shouting. The rock and roll was good though!

They had the coolest doors ever!
    Hennah and Angela
    my chicken!
    Brittney
    whos are those?....Notch yos!
Christmas lights! They're so georgeous this year! I love it!!

After a very big dinner (I had mine packaged cuz I couldn't finish more than a quarter of it) we went to Bugis for Shisha! Sadly, it was the last one with all the girls being able to attend. And it was chaotic!! Ohhh Dipak! what would Mosi cafe be without you for more than a day!! The waitress didn't come for like ever and everything just took forever to arrive and the other shishaers were so rowdy im pretty sure they were sucking vodka or somthing. hahaha! Anyway, still fun! love you girls! went home to watch some movie with the man that made me have to think *gasp!*

    the predictable watermelon juice ;)

Wednesday Henrik and I went to PS because he wanted to buy speakers for his MP3. Then I brought him to Nihon Mura for 99cent sushi! hehehe *drools* Then my nerd bought a book and got his coffee fix. hahaha I had the hazelnut latte :D

laaaa! i love the angels in the background!
my 2 favorite things! hahahatoffeenut latte!
    tree at PS =D

Thursday was Thanksgiving! but due to certain *ahem* circumstances, there was no celebration with the family this year. Thus the girls and I postponed the celebration and my Henrik and I had a "study day" instead (ok, I admit I'm a slacker but planning Thanksgiving dinner in Singapore is not super easy plus I worte a sentence for my report! Then we watched movies instead hahaha.

Friday was makeshift Thanksgiving day! I met Brittney and Angela at Carrefour for some groceries but were pretty dissapointed. Carrefour (grocery store) totally sucks now. A few days before, Angela had called to ask about the turkey (on sale for $40) and the person who answered said we didn't have to pre-order. When we actually got to the rotisserie area, the Chinaman on duty didn't know what a turkey was. I tried to explain and resorted to pointing to a picture on Carrefour's flyers. He then told us we should buy a frozen turkey and he'd roast it for us. What the hell?? He said It'd take 2 hours to roast but since when does a whoel turkey cook in 2 hours?! ok fine they have a big oven but I'm doubtful. Anyway we asked him to call the manager and he came back to say we had to pre-order 3 days in advance. Whoever told Angela we could just pick the bird up just deprived 7-8 people of Thanksgiving turkey!! tsk tsk and if he or she happens to come across my blog, I hope you feel very very guilty right now! *stares at whoever with an acusing glare* Anyway, to top it off, we couldn't find pumpkin pie filling, pie crust, mashed potatoes (Betty Crocker...they had the 99% potato Mr.Mash though....apparently their variety dropped), lemon meringue pie among other things.

We resorted to going to the Marketplace at Raffles City. They had everything!! Pie, eggnog, turkey gravy, fried onions, pumpkin pie filling!!-only, they didn't have turkey. So we bought 3 chickens that we called baby turkey instead. Still, its a big step up from Carrefour! And we got mashed potatoes from KFC hehehe

    tada!

We also had the biggest problems making dinner saying we had one working stove top thingy and the shittiest can opener invented by an idiot. All in all we're still geniuses and made a really good dinner! Green been casserole, stuffing, corn...etc etc *happies!* And while we ate pie we watched a cute chick flick "baby momma" which was pretty predictable but not bad at all. LOL

    mini turkey!
    haha cuteee!

    birthday pie!
    we love pies lol

Saturday we went to Maria's 25th birthday party on the bridge at Clarke Quay! It was more of a social meetup/goodbye party. Afterwards we headed to a KTV pub where people got drunk and drunkener. hahaha The asians sitting behind us loved us though and made Henrik and a few others drink like whiskey on the rocks or something. Then the bad chinese singing got irritating and all this drama happened when someone had deleted my song and SOMEONE (--,) started deleting other table's songs and the pub woman got angry and started cursing in mandrin and hokkien and called the angry boss whos english and reasoning was bad. We were leaving anyway. Matthew joined us and on our way to get beers at 7 eleven we found a drunken little boy sleeping on the street. We decided to mess with him a little (just a little la) and probe him and put his phone (that was easily stolen) down his shirt.......only he got up and wanted to fight. hahaha I think he should've thanked us from preventing him from being robbed instead! The night ended with more almost-fights where some malays threw a "water" balloon at Lasse. Tsk, drunk people..........

Sunday was great! everyone woke up late and 11 of us headed to a Japanese steamboat place at Clementi. They had a large variety of cooked and raw foods, a choice of bbq or steamboat. Everything was pretty delicious- or maybe cuz we were all just hungry. hahaha

Monday was an uneventful day. Henrik had to study and I ran a few errands. We saw Hancock (downloaded ;)) and it was pretty sweet! A lot better than I expected.

Tuesday we went out to Clarke Quay because it was Henrik's and Lasse's last day in singapore! There was the usual drinking by the beach and then later to China One for a sort while. Apparently all the pool tables (except one which was taken) are broken. what the hell. We played a really dumb game instead, where you had to his 3 sides and then into a pocket. hah! AND, no night at Clarke Quay ends without McDonalds!

Wednesday was really really sad =( I saw Henrik and Lasse off at the airport. I think I scared the secuirty guard when I enquired about the shuttle bus back to the MRT between sobs. hahaha.

mustaches we found leftover form halloween hahahahah
    LOL

They really put the budget in budget terminal

I made it home for like 5 mins and ruchd to dinner with my loves Grace, Lev and Gilda! We had dinner at MOF, Bugis and then to Nectarie le'Dessert Patisserie at Clarke Quay for desserts with Grace's boss *brows* That night was so noisy and crazy at Clarke Quay. The Cuban restaurant had cabaret dancers (most were atually not hot at all) and a huge crowd. Afterwards, we went to mt. Faber for the view and a couple of drinks! Kitty came home from Australia so he met up with us too! *brows*

Inside joke side note: Expensive grass! and the "ah beng" face lol

Today the clan went to Carl's Jr. to play boardgames! lol Definitely fun ways to pass time! There was Uno jenga and Risk. Though Risk is not my favorite game because I always lose and its really long! I love how Carl's Jr is 24 hour though! lol *happies*

    uno stacko!

    End thoughts:
