Time for a new update!!!
Since I've been home I've lost 1kg! woo hoo!!! 4 more to go! And I've done a variety of things. Nothing too new or surprising...............
- I went fishing with Grace and her company at Lower Pierce reservoir! Apparently its a hot spot for families to catch shrimps and fish. In my opinion, it was fun for awhile...........but then I've never had the paitence to catch anything. Hahaha! There are a ton of wild monkeys there! They're so friendly and brave! They creep really close to the humans to steal our food! One group stole a whole loaf of bread from us! *gasp* All in all it was a pretty good day with the good weather and all!!!
- I went to Vivo city for dinner to hang out with Pingy! I felt like I hadn't been there in foreverrr!!! Nothing much changed really, I was just happy to see her again! Love you!
New National Geographic store had some interesting pictures
yummm!!!
Pingy!
our desserts! one is coconut the other is durain jelly or something. I liked the coconut thing a lot. I dont like durain much, but this one was edible because there was no smell to it!
We had steamboat for dinner! (Spicy Steamboat restaurant #03-07) Finally after being deprived of it for so long! lol I had no idea how much I could eat! Not a bad place, the view was great, the chicken wings were really nice and the spread wasn't too bad. They had everything from seafoods, meats and noodles, with a side of cooked foods. However, the tables were really sticky (wth?), soup refilling was slow, and the staff was almost near rude. I'd go back, but it wouldn't be my first choice!
- I went to Ah Loy Thai restaurant at Shaw Towers with Lev, Gilda, Dom and Lennart! That was great! I had a really god time and the food there is really good (and cheap!) I had phad thai noodles, and we had side orders of chicken wings, veggies, fried squid (I don't usually eat squid, but these were reallllllly good!) and green curry. Very nice, very fun! I love you guys!
Joke of the day: the boss's name is Aloisius!! lol wth
- Went to Shisha with Angela! It was just the 2 of us because all the girls are gone! *sobs* but it was good to catch up! And of course, see Dipak again! hahah I missed everyone! I'm happy to say they still remembered me! (Although I'm sorry to blog about this Dipak, but the shisha was reallllyyy bad that night. It was like I was smoking water because there was no flavor....................But I'll let this one slip since it doesn't usually happen!)
Joke of the day: OHMYGAWD!!! Is that a knee dimple?!.....LOL wth
- Went to dinner at Crystal Jade Express with Lev and Gilda after some Arab street shopping! I the food was ok-edible. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Theres much better food out there for that price range!! Nonetheless, we did have a great giggly time! Love you girls!
loves!
noodles
carrot cake! yumm! this was good!
tongue wrap!
they said I look like the mona lisa! LOL
- I worked for the IBC with Angela again! Same old, same old. Nothing too exciting, but I was happy to see my poor over-worked Angela!
- I went to Dbl O! hahah figures! I love that place! And I got to see my favorite door bitch! Good news! I found out her real name via facebook! Because someone invited me to their free beer party and then I got that chain message that was like "mention *name of party* to our pretty door girl Sheena". I was like *gasp!* Sheeenaaa!!! So after some investigations I confirmed that her name is Sheena! HOWEVER, one can never be tooo sure- since she DID tell Phylaine her name was "no breasts". So maybe you can call her that! But I wouldn't reccomend it cuz she looks like she can kick some ass =x *runs away*
Anyway, the night was okkkkkkkk. Grace who BEGGED me to go, got all drunk and what nots and wanted to leave early, but I was like Hell No!! So she stayed to watch me tell some guy he shouln't wear polka dots. (SERIOUSLY, what is up with that. Polka dots have GAY written all over them! (not that I have anything against gay people, but I'm just saying!) Plus they're unlucky! (the polka dots, not gay people)) Also, I just want to mention- I don't like the DJ at Dbl O anymore....everytime I go I get irritated due to bad choices and bad mixes =x But I will still go because I hate Phuture even more =x
- I went to see a movie and dinner with Jayce! We saw 'He's Just Not That Into You'. It was a good movie......good but not great. The only thing that made it not a bad movie or predictable chick flick- was that a lot of big name stars were in it and one of the couples didn't end happily ever after. In my opinion, it was more like a movie for fat girls with low self esteem to eat a tub of ice cream while watching it alone when it comes out on DVD. Seriously, 1) since when are good looking girls ever rejected? 2) None of the signs are actually real 3) Since when have men actually been smart enough to manipulate women into thinking we did the dumping? Its a woman's job to manipulate! We've been doing it for ages! If you don't think so, its because we've led you to believe its not so. =p
- I went to Jayce's grandma's funeral. Unfortunately, she had passed on after a couple days in the hospital. My deepest condolences to Jayce and her family
ok, I know we look abit too happy for a funeral here but I think we were laughing at one of Jayce's cousin's friends because he looked gay =x
Shhhh don't tell him but it was really funny the way he acted.
our Great Wall of Peanut shells
- I saw 'My Bloody Valentine 3D' with Angela. The movie was not so good- another one of those predictable teenage horror movies with A LOT of gore. But it was worth watching because the graphics were really good. You could see the bullet shoot and turn. Very cool!
- I went to Shisha again with Angela and Henah! We had a much better carpet this time! and the Shisha was much better! *happies*
The flash was so bright lol
- I went to dinner with Grace and Gilda! Finally some sushi and shopping involved!
*loves!*
hahah she looks disgusted
the baby that liked staring at our table! LOL cute!!
- I had dinner with Phy at Shokudo! We ate so much! Rosti, Pizza and a Mushroom burger! lol It was filling. The service was good and all as usual!
pizzaa
needs a lot more salt
- Went to the new Mosi Cafe's grand opening on Arab street. They had the rooftop open! And were very lucky it didn't rain that night! Overall the view was really good and I had a nice time. Some feedback though, the music was too loud. I couln't even hear myself talk and had to shout. Also, refilling of charcoal= not efficient! I can understand it was busy-but I had to ask like 5x before it really died! Also, remove tentage! it was so hot! maybe it was cuz there was no breeze and a lot of body heat -.-" If I were going to drink and shisha I wouldn't mind going back to the rooftop, but I think I'll stick to the one on Bali Lane because I prefer to lie on the floor and have my personal space ;)
I did get to catch up with Shan and Jerome during shisha though! It was good! I really missed you guys!!!
- I had steamboat with Angela and Maude! hooray!!! Jin's Deli as usual! We ate till we were about to explode! It was a Saturday so the place was jam packed! but still lovely! yummm! THAT killed my diet in so many ways!
We spent the night at Angels watching movies and what nots! Very fun! I love you girls!
Maude's first rice dumpling and she hated it. lol
- Celebrated my Aunty Joyce's birthday! The family went to Tony Romas at Suntec! Still not my favorite place for ribs, but I had a great time because its like the first time ever my family didn't end up quarreling at the end of the night! *gasp!* We ended the night at McCafe at East Coast. Very pleasant!
momma and brother
we ordered 3 full racks of different kinds of ribs!
my favorite was the spicy ribs!
Dessert! (ok, I look stupid but I was on a sugar high!)
we bought my favorite egg tarts!!! yay!!
telling stories!
coffee!
cheese cake!!! muahaha! my favorite!
birthday cake! yummy!
- Finally, I went shopping with sissy poo! I bought bras! many many at PS because they were having a sale! I'm so happy! Plus some stuff from the faceshop! good times!
me and sissy poo!
Just a thought from Pamela's brain: I was just pondering one day, do infertile women still have their periods? Because then It'd be REALLY unfair. I mean to put up with all the blood and cramps and still not be able to have kids when you want. But I mean, if they don't then its pretty fair. Just unlucky.
Also, I think the "creator" (Because I still don't believe there's a god and to be religion friendly) should have some sort of choice system. Like each year the "creator" would send a letter "would you like babies this year?" giving you the option of checking: "No", "Yes" or "Surprise me" Seriously, think of all the fun we could have with no baby worries. And all the money we'd save on condoms, abortions, tampons, pads and pain killers!
Something random but worth mentioning: The new trains are pretty cool! They have a map at every door (finally something that makes sense!) and blinking lights to tell you which stop you're at and which door to exit from! Cool beans! Don't judge me but I took a picture! hahaha
Now if they could only lessen the crowd and make the trains more efficient............
News of the week revolving around Pamela's life!: My hamster had babies! Woo Hoo! I was jsut telling Henrik the other day, that I thought the hammies were infertile because I see fucking but no suckling! But all of a sudden, I'm a proud grandma of 3! right now they're all pink, blind, hairless and a little less than an inch big each! I tried to take pictures but the mom has been covering them most of the time and I'm scared I might scare her into eating them! So you all are just gonna have to wait for a better time! Maybe I should auction off the pics like Brangelina did! hahaha
Sometimes, its the little things in life that are worth appreciating and loving!
