Updates, updates! I tried to think of some kind of great, jaw dropping excuse to give my religious readers, but I couldn't think of any. So I'm just gonna go ahead and admit that I haven't blogged in the past 2 weeks because of sheer laziness. (Also, because my life's excitement has plummeted -but I'm in denial.) Anyway, lets get on with it!
In the past 2++ weeks, I have.......................
Gone to Annalakshmi with Angela and Henah! Its the free indian food at Chinatown again. Still pretty much not my cup of tea, but when in Rome.....or in this case Asia...........
Angela Angela making fun of Henah cuz she had the hiccups!
I caught Departures with Dom. It was great! Very entertaining. It was serious, sweet and funny all at the same time. It won the best foreign language film at the Oscars ;) Pam's rating is 4.8/5
One of the Saturdays I was not feeling well in the morning (lets just say I had enough time spent on the throne to ponder life.....) but went shopping with daddy and my momma in the evening! It was fun! I'd like to say I was the only child invited because I'm their favorite, but they were saying I'm not and its not the reason, blah blah........TOO BAD! I refuse to believe it! hehehe We went to Parkway and Marina Square- I got sunglasses and a lot of undies! *happies* For a very very late dinner, we went for dim sum at Jalan Besar. Not bad at all! *happies*
Oh but I did see the most unclassy person I've ever seen in my life there! Sitting across from us with whom I assume to be his wife or girlfriend, was a typical "ah-beng" character. He was a bit plump, bad hair dye, tattoos all over, t shirt, slippers and shorts. He took off his footwear and put a knee up on the bench (very trishaw puller-like as my mom would say) while slumping. He spoke loudly with hokkien vulgarities, ensuring never to miss a sentance without at least one. THEN he rubbed his tummy and burped loud enough for the next 3 tables to hear! *gasp*
One of the Sundays, I went to ECP with Grace and her company to play with Kangaroo Stilts! They're contraptions designed like kangaroo legs (or in my opinion, more like dinosaur legs) that people attach to their legs and hop around! hahah Its really fun and a really good work out as you can't stop moving to abstain from falling. It was a little hard to balance in the begining, but once you get the hang of it, its actually quite easy. The staff there is very friendly and helpful. They teach you how to use the contraptions, how to fall and help you up when you fall. Verryy cool. Its at least worth a try. I'll definately be going back!

We ended the day with dinner at Waraku. Not bad, I still prefer sushi tei for some reason. Although I must admit its pretty cool that they have the Japanese floor seating thing going on.
I went rollerblading with Levyne- twice! I didn't manage to take any pictures but it was really fun! Finally good use of my skates! And good exercise. We went on Tuesday nights but surprisingly on both weekday nights, there weres till a lot of people around. Last Tuesday we actually walked to and from ECP from our places of living in Bedok! *Gasp* It took us about 30 mins of walking there and almost 2 hours back (we started walking back from the other end of ECP) after 2 hours of skating! *whew* My phone's step counter stated about 14,000 ++ steps!
tired face
I also managed to meet up with Socks and Vanessa! *gasp* I hadn't seen them in the longest time! It was great to catch up with everything I missed. We had dinner at Sushi Tei. Delicious!
We caught Confessions of a Shopaholic! I absolutely loved this chick flick. I have to admit it was very predictable, almost every moment of it was typical chick-flick, but it was still super enjoyable and funny. Maybe its because I could somewhat relate to the character =x hahaha Pams rating is 4.5/5
Greatest thing I discovered that day was that Marks and Spencers was having a cookie sale! selected snacks were 2 boxes for $4.90 and a thrid box for $1! I bought redcurrent puffs! *happies* Its just one of those things you can eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner without getting sick of them! And you feel muchos guilty after eating one but you can't stop yourself from taking another!! *loves*
I made dinner for the family one day! Baked Mackerel in a greek style. Yumm!! It was so good my brother had a piece without reverting to chicken!
lil bro
Grace came over one day to make quiche and Lasagna! Both were terrific. I'm so proud of us! The quiche had broccoli, mushrooms, ham and leeks. *burps!*

Something to Ponder from Pamela's thoughts: Since they drive on the right side of the road in the US and the left side of the road in the UK, before cars were invented did- they ride carriages on the right side of the road in the US and on the left in the UK?
Something you probably didn't know about Pamela: My favorite color of skittles are the red ones! Just because they taste the best! I'd much rather taste a whole bag of red skittles than the rainbow ;) (and just in case you continue to wonder, green ones are my second favorite flavor, followed by orange and purple. (I totally don't like the yellow ones and don't like tropical packs!))
Life update: Pamela has started teaching tuition ;)
A new discovery!: I've recently discovered Sparkling ribena! I'm in love! Its the greatest drink everr!! I wish it came in bigger bottles! I've always been a fan of sparkling juices anyway! but now its in a convenient small bottle! hooray! *happies*
