Yay!!!! After this post, we're pretty much up to date!!! I did it! And just in time too because I'm going to the Muse concert tonight! woot woot! Now for the September updates in Denmark!
- Henrik bought me roses one day! *Happies* I think there were 20 stalkes, 10 red and 10 white! I freaking love surprises! and Especially surprises that make you feel loved! hehe!
- Baby also made some steaks for us! It was so delicious. We had pasta and steamed zucchini on the side :D (I made the Zucchini lol) and onions and mushrooms to top the steaks. It was so delicious! I'm totally a red meat woman! Whoever said the way to a man's heart is through is stomach, forgot that women love food too! *loves*
- I saw a parade of bikes for the annual closing of Bakken-the amusement park (they have an annual bike parade for the opening too lol). They drove on the main street past our window. It was pretty amusing, the parade went on for about 20 minutes! There was all kinds of bikes big and small, pillioned and single. My favorites were the ones with a bright colored bike with a unique matching helmet! I thought the ones with the roman brush on top of the helmet was really cute too!
- We went for a walk one day and got some Danish chocolate snacks! One brownie thing that was amazing and a round one with chocolate sprinkles-a rumball! yummm!
- There was a great day which included ice cream!!! I had the biggest craving for ice cream and kept bugging henrik to get me some.....which he did!!! *happies* A whole pint of Ben and Jerry's New York Super Fudge Chunk! Yummm! My favorite brand with one of my favorite flavors! I super love the inventor of ice cream! And I super love the buyer of ice cream =D
Q: What does a man need to do to get laid around here?!?!
A: Buy a pint of ice cream! hehehehe
- We went to Tivoli (the 2nd oldest amusement park in the world with the coolest rides!) to see the L.O.C. concert! Tivoli has free concerts every Friday in the summer....you just have to buy tickets to get into Tivoli ;) (baby bought a season pass =o) L.O.C. is one of Henrik's favorite Danish rappers. I couldn't understand 90% of the concert songs but I must say, the beats were good, his music is danceable!
After the concert we bought a big bag of candy and took a stroll around the park! I loved it! All the rides and buildings were lit up like Christmas!! It was so romantic to walk under the lights of the bridge. I had a really enjoyable time! Tivoli has that really warm feeling and the looks of a traditional amusement park with the carousel, the little casinos and just the whole design! Love it!
I'll take you to the candy shop!!!
love the lights!
When the park closed, we met Jens for drinks at a cute little pub not so far away. Good day.
- We made a traditional danish cake shaped like a kid for Henrik's friend Christian's birthday! It was pretty ok, not my favorite but it was cute! It was decorated with gummies!!! The party was fun too. There were a lot of friendly people! (I can't find pics form the party anymore lol)
- We went to lunch at Henrik's parents. They had a little get together with their extended family. It was nice to see everyone again. Grandpa brought his girlfriend *brows* She was sweet though. We made the best chocolate cake! It was rather heavy, I think I need an electric beater! lol it was still scrumptious!!!
- Baby got me more flowers!! *Happies* This time they were lillies! They were so gorgeous, I got pink and white ones!
- I visited baby at work for lunch! We sat by the lake for awhile. It was actually surprisingly warm that day! I had a pølser at the pølser stand for lunch! Yumm!!! Screw the Singapore chicken crap! I'm into pork pølser!
- We went to Tivoli for rides! Lasse had quite a few free tickets and invited all his friends. It was so great! We went on many roller coaster rides, spinny rides, bumper cars and even the playground for children! I hadn't been to an amusement park to take the rides in so long, it felt so good! hehe All of us took this room at Paulaner's beerhus which then became private because there were so many of us. hahaha
For dinner, I didn't have much cuz I was afrid I might throw up on the big rides lol. Baby had burgers with his pals. We also had churros!!! The most delicious fried carnival food around! And you could even get soft ice cream on it! But I chose the traditional cinnamon and sugar. *loves*
At about 9pm we went on the newest, biggest, fastest ride in the park.....The Vertigo! The ride is so popular they had a booking system so people wouldn't have to queue all day (there was still a line for people who didn't book but were hoping to get spots). The vertigo swings and spins with 5x the gravity of your weight pressing on you as you flew through the air. It was so scary and I'm pretty sure I screamed more than half of the time but when it was done, I figured I could go another time. hahaha (However, they wouldn't let us go again even though we had extra tickets because they wanted to give everyone a chance)
Vertigo
We went on one of my favorite rides-the Hans Christian Andersen Fairytale ride! It was so great! We sat in these treasure chests and were brought around viewing all the fairytales he'd ever written-or at least the most popular ones. LOL The little mermaid, the princess and the pea, the princess and the swineherd and many more!
We took the ferris wheel which is a cute- but high- one! It was so nice sitting in the arms of my love looking down at all the lights. The last ride we took before leaving was this tall swing that spun around. I super didn't like it because it was so high and I felt really unsafe. Plus it made me dizzy and the fact the seat behind us was roped off with caution tape! All in all, I had a fantastic time at Tivoli!
Train rollercoaster
Afterwards, the group decided to chill at a bar ran by one of the guys for biology students at the university. It was a pretty cool room with the blacklight and glowing designs on the wall. Fun stuff!
- We went to Christania for its birthday!!! The hippy town of Denmark, where no pictures are allowed and marajuana is sold openly in its streets. We met Jimmy, Julie and Michael! There was a big concert all day that had Danish rockbands and rappers all day. I saw the famous Danish rockband D.A.D who sung in english! They were pretty good in my opinion.....or maybe I was just happy I could understand them! hehe
on the way to Christiana we saw............
swans!...the national bird of Denmark!
cute!
stock exchange building
D.A.D. concert
Me and Julie looking really retarded here beccause henrik insists on only taking sneaky candid shots

Christania had an imense ammout of smoke coming from it you could see from a distance. LOL
Henrik and I smoked some hash and I was out like a light for like an hour! Next time, I stick to pot! It was pretty heavy stuff! And I didn't even get a laugh out of it! We did get a discount on it though. hehehe. We had a really tasty burger and hotdog for dinner from one of thier outside stalls. haha It was such a great day!

I'ma end this post with my new favorite song by Mariah Carey! *loves*
Its a stab at Eminem for insulting her for no reason in his songs. Love it!
