    Huat Ah!!!! Hey Loves! Happy almost Chinese New Year!!!! New blog post is up so soon because then the next post will be all the Chinese New Year pictures!!!

    Lets see, nothing too exciting happened in the past 5 days. Booring!

    I've been waking up super duper early to go to the market and grocery stores to buy things for Chinese New Year Eve dinner since both my parents are working this year. I actually went to both the market and the grocery store on Chinese New Year Eve Eve (Friday 12th) and I came back extremely traumatized!!! There was a huge ammount of people-so much so that everyone was pushing/leaning on everyone and we had to waddle shoulder to shoulder to get to the inext store! Popular stores such as Fish and fishballs had 30-45 minute lines!!! The old aunites here are sooooo rude, impaitent and demanding!! I couldn't take it. They simply cannot wait for their turn, don't care if they interrupt and I strongly suspect they like the total chaotic scene. When I told daddy, he said the old people only have an excuse to go wild once a year and this is it =o ohhh youth. I should appreciate the fact that I can go wild every week or so =x Talk about culture shock again! I hadn't seen this uncultured side of Singapore before!

    breakfast with my aunts (no theyre NOT the uncultured ones I'm complaining about)
    one very early morning!!!
    wet market
    ewwwww stinky stinky fish!

    Oh, there was this HORRIBLE aunty in the fish line that kept pressing up against me as if the line would move faster and her turn would come sooner if she just got an inch closer to the stand. She was nuts, she was so worried there'd be no more fish....In a FISH MARKET! My space was totally violated. She had practice though, you gotta give it to her- she managed to weedle her way though the semi-organized line to budge me and another woman in line. The lady who was in the same boat at me started commenting loudly at this rude aunty. Having a semi-conversation with me and the world to prove a point, she loudly said in chinese that "some people" are soooooo rude, not polite, how other people were in the line first and were waiting soooo long. I tried to add fire by agreeing loudly but our sarcasm fell on deaf ears. However, the Fish monger seemed to have good hearing as he served me first! woo hoo!

    So I would like everyone to know that Sissy poo never helps....I think hiring a cripple with no arms and no legs would be more helpful than her......ANYWAY, I've gotten everything thats traditional and necessary! I love tradition! It always gives me a warm, tingly, nostalgic feeling of the good times! *Happies* So since I'm responsible for the reunion dinner, I have to have everything perfect! And it will be! It'll be a cold day in hell when Pamela Tan throws a bad party!!!**

    This is how we do!!!!
    Not including the canned, dried and vegetables! muahahahaha!!!!

    There was A LOT of spring cleaning done. Sweeping out the bad luck! and I threw out 50% of my shoes!!!!! *gasp!* I decided I didn't like some, some were old, some were actually weather damaged (damn you hot and humid tropic island weather!), some no one claimed theirs and some I had worn once and hurt my feet. I did think about Haiti and their need for anything-probably shoes too, but I figured the last thing they'd need is a bunch of stilettos and wedges. Now my shoe stash looks so little =( This means...................shoe spree soon!!! Muahahaha!!!

    good bye my loves!!!

    One night, I went out with the family for some dinner! Daddy picked us up and we went to Thai Table at Simpang (Next to big eater). Yay! I love Thai food! Daddy wanted to go there because they have a sign that says "Big Sri Lankan crabs for $18" and that my friends, is mighty mighty cheap. Turns out their "big" wasn't our definition of big but 500grams for $18. Still cheap! It was a really pleasant dinner with the family. Finally! I'd waited so long for us to get along well! Even sissy poo was in a good mood!

    crab! we had curry, black pepper w/glass noodles and salted egg crabs!
    (baby bro is eating the beef noodles that were pretty nice too)
    mango salad was ok too.....not the best i've had though!

    I would say most of the dishes were pretty nice to eat. The Phad Thai was horrible though.....tasted like ketchup. I super freaking LOVE the salted egg crab though! So far the best in Singapore I've tried! Very close to what I had in Malaysia, but then it was a different crab they used so its harder to compare. Anyway I would definitely go back. The service was great too. Though there was one waitress for the entire place (probably because it was small and on a Monday), she was kind, helpful and efficient! Love it!

    tom yum soup!

    Me, Levyne and Gilda went our for dinner for Gilda's mini birthday celebration! Gilda has a definite love for ramen! We went to some place at Boat Quay. I totally hadn't been to that restaurant in like 3 years or something. It wasn't as good as I remembered. And I'm pretty sure their Gyoza (pot stickers) were premade and frozen. Anyway, as usual the company makes my food taste ohh so good! Oh, one good thing about this restaurant is that the portions are ginormous! We each ordered a "half" bowl and it was enough for me to roll out the door feeling like an overstuffed spring roll busting at the seams! Later, us girls went to Plaza Singapura for some quick Daiso shopping! Daiso- everything you'll never need! I wonder why I/people love it so much! hahaha Anyway, I love you girls!

    **For you asians that are wondering why my family is gathering on CNY eve with my moms side (*gasp* untraditional and not Pamela approved), it's because my dad's side decided to "have their own (each family gathers with themselves)" for whatever reasons- I have my thories...definitely more complicated than their simple excuses. Oh well!

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    People sometimes confuse me. I think its so stupid when people write things in their Facebook statuses and not expect other people to talk about it when you don't give them an explanation. HELLO, Facebook is a SOCIAL NETWORKING site! People say they don't want attention, but then accuse other people of "gossiping" about them when they post highly sad/suspicious/interesting etc statuses. LIKE DUH, people are only human. You can't possibly not expect people to ask why, whats wrong, what happened etc. If you don't tell people, they're going to speculate. Haven't you thought that your friends might be worried about your well being, not so close friends might want to know incase they hang out with you in the future and accidentally talk about a touchy subject or whatever. No need to go around thinking everyones out to gossip for the hell of it because you're sooooo special. Facebook is public. If you don't want everyone to know your business, KEEP IT YOUR BUSINESS.
    I would suggest a private blog or a hand written diary. Hell, keep a diary on Word Document for all I care. Just stop going around and playing the "victim" all the freaking time. Talk about dramatic people. *rollseyes*
    Ohhhh you people recently are full of drama. What is it? Like, drama month or something and no one told me?! Take life as it goes! Don't make things too complicated! Live. Laugh. Love.
    Speaking of LOVE! HAPPY VALENTINES DAY TO EVERYONE!!! I love you all! I know Chinese New Year has outshined Valentine's day this year, but its always a good holiday to remember your loved ones! Speaking of loved ones! My boyfriend sent me a dozen roses which I recieved this morning!!! *Awwww!!!* I'm so freaking happy and surprised!!! If you know me personally, you'd know that I don't really support overpriced flowers for Valentines day- those dirty advantage taking, money sucking florists! BUUUUTTT if my boyfriend belives in it, whos to complain? Its a win win situation for everyone!!!!! *happies + filled with love*
    They came in a heart shaped basket and with a teddybear! Soooo cute! I was actually sleeping with my face down on the pillow when it arrived (ugh, I was so exhausted from the marketing this week!) and sissy signed for them and put them on a chair next to me at eye level. Daddy calls me sometime later and I answer still semi-sleeping with my face still in the pillow. Next thing I know when I hung up and rolled around to get comfortable again I see a big basket of flowers! Love it! Love Henrik! *happies*
    Some Mush (shield your virgin eyes!):
    Dear Baby,
    I love you so much too!
    I'd live in a different time zone for you anytime! I can't wait to be in your arms again!
    Love always,
    Your happy girlfriend!
