    Hi Loves! Its been like 3 weeks since I last blogged? hehe I don't understand whats wrong with the page after the last post because its supposed to show 7 posts by default but I guess I must've mistakenly inserted an html code overriding that and I don't know how to fix it! But I guess you guys can just click on the past months if you'd like. Anyway, everything should be fixed from this post onwards ;) Also, if anyone knows a code that can unwrite my mistake above, it'd be much appreciated so I don't do it again in the future!

    In other news, my phone was stolen :( Its things like this that makes me hate people! My phone and I went through so much together! I was having a very good day prior to that! Anyway, I just get a temporary phone until I can renew my contract and a better phone next year. Ewww I hate downgrading :( The worst part is definitely the loss of my sim card and all the information I wanted to save on it! Plus the pictures I hadn't managed to upload. *sigh* My number remains the same for those of you who have it!

    Anyway, I did spend an entire week sick just like I'd predicted I'd be the post before this. It was horrible!! I hate flus! Plus I had an allergic reaction to dust from the hotel making my blocked nose and throat symptoms worse!!! But thank goodness the worst was over by the time my Henrik arrived!!

    He arrived on the 26th of Febuary! Daddy drove me with momma to the airport to get him. I remembered something like terminal 2 and started to freak out when I couldn't see his plane arrival on the board. I think its bad when I call my bestfriend and she answers with "hi, oh, need me to check his flight schedule?" and I reply with a meek, "yes, can you get into my email please". Haha good thing his flight had a couple minutes delay and I got there on time! I was so afraid I'd reach and he'd be stitting sadly, alone on a chair thinking no one came to get him. lolssss

    Momma and daddy at the airport! The decoration is for Chinese New Year and Valentine's day! Who knew the airport was so spirited!awwwww *loves*

    We had a good welcome dinner at the East Coast Park Lagoon. Daddy finally tried all the satay stores and retains that the best is still Harron!

    *happies*

    Good thing Henrik came right before the last day of Chinese New Year! (we celebrate the last day too, but this year my family celebrated a day early (Saturday) because we wanted to gamble late into the night without worrying about school/work the next day! hehe!) My family was muchos impressed he tried everything!! (Even I dont like everything they make =x) We also taught him to Lo hay (lucky chinese salad we throw)! I taught him last year when we had people over in Copenhagen to celebrate CNY, but this year was oh so much more authentic! ;)

    guys with the xbox
    Lunch!
    Lo Hay! Huat ar!

    Then there was Xbox for awhile...something like a pre-food game. But after the food, we taught the Danish our gambling ways! He even played poker with the boys! I lost money this time round :( He won though.....same same but different? (--,)

    In the evening we went off to the Concorde Hotel! It was the SDP cocktail dinner for its 30th anniversary and I was hosting!! The night was amazing! I still had a bit of a cold but I think people could hear me fine. Everything went off without a hitch. The people were amazing, the food was amazing, the whole event was amazing! There was a live band, a magazine launch, awards and even a fashion show! Cocktail dinners seems better than a traditional 7-10 course dinner for political parties because people had mentioned that they could network better. I was proud of myself and SDP and I hope they were too!

    SDP

    I took Henrik for a hair cut on one of the days. He looked like a rather large white mushroom.....or maybe cauliflower? We went to a malay barber (the store was literally named "Malay Barber") that my daddy goes to. I'm pretty sure the man had no idea what he was doing. the hair cut came out fine, but the way he did it was wild. Maybe it was just us, but we didn't agree with the tools he used for different parts of the styling. LOL Plus in the time he took to cut Henrik's hair the other barber had finished 2 peoples cuts! Oh well, it was only $7!! cheap cheap!

    dane-fro, be gone!
    first home cooked meal that evening!

    On Febuary 28th, we had the best end to the month one could possibly have! Henrik had bought me tickets to the BACKSTREET BOYS concert!!! hollerrr!!!! It was part of my Valentine's day present! It was so much fun! They're all still so cute after 10 years! All the good memories and good songs came back! Henrik is not a very big fan (though he knew some (--,) -well if you didn't you must've came from another planet!.....and should be shot....) but he had a really good time watching some guy (he thinks he's straight as he was accompanied by his girlfriend, but we figure he just hasn't realised that he's gay yet) in the next row going as crazy as the rest of the girls in screaming, singing and dancing along. Loved it!!! You know you wish you were there!

    dinner before the concert!*happies*
    Backstreet's back ALRIGHT!
    their dancers had outfits that looked like it came from the 90s!
    I don't know if they did that on purpose lol
    sexxxiness!look at the ginormous crowd!

    We had a good dinner before the concert and a good walk after! Love you baby!

    dinner at the food court!mandatory skyline shot!

    One bright sunny day, we went to Parkway Parade. Mostly to change money, but we had dinner with Nichelle there too. I brought my sweetheart to try the Xiao Long Bao dumplings that I love! I think he really liked them (though not the best I've eaten, I figure we will work slowly upwards)! The restaurant Koo Kee Dumpling and Ramen House has awesome crispy chicken too! We ended the night at McDonalds ECP trying to convince Nichelle that she'd pass her bank tests. lol

    Parkway Parade's Chinese New Year decorations! Its the year of the tigger!!!!cutest pooh bear!

    One random day, after going to tampines mall to look for a coffee press:
    baby ate a snack!!!! this was his creation....(we came home with no coffee press but ham, bread and cheese lol)

    Oh what a busy month we have! Another activity following closely, was my Aunt Joyce's birthday! We took her out to eat at one of the local restaurants. This restaurant is pretty popular with my family because it'd been around for since before I was born. My family had gone there for a couple of occasions like birthdays and anniversaires. Good memories! Anyway, The restaurant had been recently renovated and its all "modern" now, so we decided to give it a go. The food quality was pretty good, the service pretty fantistic and the price a bit higher than before. Henrik and I had bought a cake on the way to the restaurant and the staff had turned on some birthday songs in english and chinese as the cake came out.

    there was baby octopus, deep fried sweet squid and abalone with jellyfish!
    hehe my family are crab fanatics! love it!

    We took my cousin and little brother out one night to see Alice in Wonderland! We had dinner at Plaza Singapura at this Japanese restaurant called Kyoto Sabo. I wasn't so impressed. The food was average, the selection was average, the prices were high for their quality. But as long as everyone had fun! Its all good!

    dinner!

    Alice and Wonderland was very entertaining. They have a super swell team of actors and actresses. I loved the creativity in the movie! Pam's rating is 4.3/5!

    There was a meetup with all my loves! And people wanting to say hi to Henrik again! I- as usual- had the biggest sushi craving and figured everyone should come to a buffet with us! The 9 of us went to Minori and there was an amazing array of food. Their sashimi was seriously thick and not nice....but I ate it anyway because I love raw salmon =x I'm so glad everyone came and had fun! love you all!

    My pet

    After stuffing ourselves silly, the group parted and we had coffee at Clarke Quay with Pingy. *loves* I liked sitting out by the river. I felt a sense of peace with the world as I sat next to my bestfriend, my boyfriend and my pet tummy being so full. ahhhhhhh.

    We had a late night movie at Cineleisure since we had nothing to do and Pingy's curfew was 7am. We just HAD to take advantage of that! LOL! We saw Wolfman! It was like any other Werewolf movie in my opinion. Though some parts were shocking...and made me scream....but hey, I screamed in Happy Feet. Its the loud sound system I tell you! Pam's rating is 2.4/5

    Another group outing happened at the Handburger! There was about 10 of us there and Lev's friend owns the place so we got some discounts (--,) hehe. The burger was average. I wasn't impressed. For a gourmet burger store I'd expect them to ask me how I'd like my burger done. The patty was dry and crumbly. The french fries were not bad, but no difference to a fast food outlet such as Carl's Jr. I did really like their onion rings though! very crispy! I think it'll be some time before I consider going back with the prices they're charging for the quality. =x

    yum!gary, after your next operation I expect you to smile for every picture!hehe

    We headed to KPO after dinner to chill out. Its a nice, trendy place I must say! But very expensive as a pint of beer was $18! But then again it kind of figures when there are lambos and maseratis parked outside of it. I still had fun with the great company! And being amused as people tripped down the stairs though theres a big sign that said, "Please watch your step".

    SDP members wanted to discuss some post-party issues, so we had luch with them at Quality Hotel. I've always liked the buffet there. It's really worth the money and the food is delicious! The only think I'd suggest is they brew better coffee. The buffet came in a package with the board room they'd booked. We had a long but pleasant discussion following.

    baby meets aliens!!

    Afterwards, the family was pretty hungry, so we drove around balestier to get some food. I was craving for duck rice so we got some! Balestier is pretty famous for food- so daddy says- but I don't think I'd ever been as its hard to get to without a car. Or maybe I have, I'm not so sure lol. Henrik is SO incredibly disgusting! He ate both the duck brains and butt! On the Bishop nose was by accident because he didn't know, and threw out because it was too fatty, but the brains were totally voluntary! Yes, it impressed my parents (though my mom too would never touch either) but they're not the ones that have to kiss him!!!

    Later in the evening, after taking a short rest at home, Henrik and I decided to head out for a movie. The only interesting looking one in theaters was Green Zone- with Matt Damon! *loves* However, when we got to the theater all the good timings were booked out. So we settled for a 2am movie. Having loads of time to waste, we joined Grace, Taco, Ron and Jacqueline for Shisha!! It was so good meeting up with them after soooo long!! I think the guys left happier with a beer date and new drinking buddies (--,)

    Taco and GraceRonald

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    So, we head back to the movie theater and we had a little....incident with some mats. (Mat is a Singaporean slang that has come to be a derogative term for young malay men/boys when they're poorly educated and out to make trouble.) Anyway, I'm not one for drogative terms and racism, but its not my fault if these black sheep decide to live up to their stereotype.
    So, as I was happily going to the elevator with Henrik trailing behind, I noticed 2 full elevators we'd missed about togo up. So i pressed the "up" button for the next avilable elevator. However, I'd not seen an elevator behind me closing and accidentally made their doors open again. So I said "oops sorry" and a malay guy with his ugly, chip-toothed girlfriend hugging him from behind smirkingly says, "SPG. haha SPG" when he saw Henrik. It took a few seconds to register what he'd said and I mannaged to yell "fuck you" back. Alarmed by my sudden outburst, Henrik asked what the guy had said. When I told Henrik, he was pretty furious and wanted to go after the guy, but I didn't want to spoil our fun and said it was alright, theres no way we could've known what floor he'd gotten off on anyway.
    So we went to see our movie but the more I thought about what had happened the more furious I got. How dare the insult me like that. I don't know him, he doesn't know me, where I'm from, whom I've dated. So I decided that if I were to see that mat again, I would demand for an apology.
    After the movie, we stepped out of Cineleisure for a smoke when just nice, I saw him sitting on the ledge with his girlfriend and 2 friends. while lighting my cigarette, I told Henrik that that mat in black was the guy who insulted me at the elevator and I was going to as for an apology. Henrik accompanied me and I told the mat, "I believe you said something to me earlier on the elevator". Judging from his apprehansive expression, I fully doubt he'd ever expected me to confront him. Henrik said, "what did you say to my girlfriend?" And all the mat could reply was, "It wasn't me, I don't know what you're talking about....."etc etc.
    1. He was a bad actor. On top of it, he over-acted his confusion making him look guiltier than ever.
    2. It's stupid to lie because I recognised both he and his girlfriend from no less than 2.5 hours before.
    Then one of his friends- half the size of Henrik, so skinny I thought he'd break if I touched him and with an extended earlobe stating to everyone who sees it that he has gone as far in life as he wants to- starts coming up to our face in a demanding tone saying, "So what, so what if he did, so what?!" He sounded exactly like one of those annoying chihuahua dogs that won't stop barking. We ignored him. The other friend sat silent. From his countenance, I figure he knows what his friend had done and didn't know how to react.
    Henrik was then saying, "We don't judge you and your friends, why should you judge us? It's completely out of line." All this while chihuaha on my right is still barking. So I gave up ignoring him and answered, "well if he did I want an apology because it was really rude......You should be ashamed of yoursef for being so rude." The mat starts saying again that they took the escalator and it wasn't him. And his girlfriend meekly uter a few words too. *rolleyes* Then he starts saying that he wanted an apology for us accusing him of something he didn't do. We give up because there really is no point with these people and Henrik said, "Yea, sorry if it wasn't you, I just have to stand up for my girl you know". And the Chihuahua is STILL barking nonsense. So Henrik just tells him that he wasn't talking to him it was none of his business. Chihuahua replies that it was his friend thus, his business. We walked away with a, "Yea, but he's not your girlfriend..."
    Seriously, I know, the Mat knows and God (all of them!) knows what he did so I hope he gets karma. He had just proved to us, his friends and people sitting around how much of a coward he is. He shouts derogative terms to people he doesn't know to feel better about himself and maybe prove something to his friends -but only with his friends and a huge elevator door protecting him. When confronted (by a girl nontheless), he wasn't even man enough to admit what he'd said. I feel sorry for his girlfriend for getting with such a coward, but it's probably the best she could get with her teeth and constant expression of constipation. It takes a man to start a fight, and a bigger man to apologise.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    That aside, Green Zone is a fantastic movie. I was captivated the entire time! Matt Damon is SO HOTT, so plus points for that too! Pam's rating is 4.7/5!

    Great News!! I roasted my first whole chicken by myself! And it was delicious!! Maybe I had the chicken flipped to the wrong side, but I blame it mostly on the spine/worm looking thingy I discovered while I was rinsing it. It was sooooooooooooooo gross! you don't even know! I called daddy who told me to pull it out and then I told Henrik to pull it out. muahaha.

    gloriousssss!!

    There's a week of school vaca for my brother and cousin, so Xavier slept over at our place for a couple days. One of the days, Henrik and I decided that the boys had been playing computer and video games too much and needed to get outside. We fixed a delicious picnic of deviled eggs, meatball sandwiches, mac and cheese and fruit! We headed to the 6th floor rooftop garden above my house and had a very fun time in the sun! I think kids do like doing non-electronic things if you gave them the time. There was "wine" and even some dancing (--,)

    My little brother claims I only take pictures of him when he's eating........It't not my fault he's ALWAYS eating!!!
    haha
    yumm yumm!
    so sunny!my nerd created a pump machine!
    haha he's running away from getting caught on camera! he was so sitting on ithaha my big dinosaur on little dinosaur!
    the guys chillin'
    and boozing

    A couple days ago, we met Ravin and his beau DJ- visting from KL- for supper at 85 as they were around the area. They're so sweet!

    Most recently, we brought the 2 boys Xavier and Ian rollerblading! As usual, we had Carl's Jr and worked it off with an hour of blading. They claim an hour is not enough so maybe next time we'll go and I'll let them skate until they can't lift their legs anymore! muahaha!!!

    *loves*
    Carl's Jr!

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Pamela's Brilliant invention idea!: Why isn't there a boob massager?! I mean, theres massage chairs for backs, massage machines for feet and legs, massagers for you head, tummy but why not boobies?! Every month before Aunty Anne visits my boobs are sore like hell. They feel like someone sucker punched me in both of them. What feels really good is a massage! I'm sure other girls feel the same and pregnant women would definitely appreciate a boob massaging machine.
    "Special", but innocent convo:
    Henrik: blah blah blah....make sure I look good when I'm out....
    *me fixes his hair, collar ect.*
    Me:....tsk, do you never brush your eyebrows?!
    Pam thinks the news reporter to Channel News Asia sounds very unprofessional when she kept referring to dogs as "doggies" in her news report.
    Pam wants to go to the newly opened Universal Studios themepark at Sentosa!!! I shall wait until the hub about it dies down and go!! I've even lowered my standards from the real one in California that my parents use to take us to every year!! I'm ready to be pleasantly surprised!
    A not-so-subtle hint to one Henrik Andersen: Pamela wants to go to Singapore's newly opened Applebee's!!!! For the sake of her pet tummy and nostalgic reasons! American obesity will take over Singapore soon!!!! roarrrr!!!!
