    The Speedy days of July!

There has been some blog slacking indeed! But I'm gonna update you about how much fun I had in July up till now! hehehe! The pastry had been very hard working while I was in Thailand and more when I came home! Thats why I had bought him some exclusive Archipelago beer from duty free! *giggles* And I think he missed me because he made a super delicious breakfast for me the first morning I was home! Hmmm, maybe I should go away for short trips more often so I get better treatment (--,) (not saying I'm not treated well usually, but BETTER! muahaha!)

with his wife....I'm jsut the girlfriend (--,)
I also used a slow cooker for the first time! I don't really understand what it's for because you have to cook everything before you put it in and then the raw meat takes 8 hours to cook! I could've done that in 10 minutes! but ok, next time I'll try chinese herbal soup. I hear its better for that herbal stuff ;)

I went out with Lev and the guys to a Japanese restaurant at Iluma mall. It's something like 3 connecting restaurants in one compound, but for some reason we couldnt order from all of them =/ The staff was strange, we asked them for ramen and they ushered us to the only restaurant that didn't have Ramen. Anyway, the food was good but the portions too small. I'll stick to Sushi Tei ;)

    Sashimis!

Henrik and I met upwith Grace, Taco, Ronald and Jaqueline one night...because the guys wanted beers. So we went to Bugis for the first round and boat quay for the second round! THEN we went to a ktv pub Jacky is a regular at and found all the boys! It was Pj night and I got to try on Jacky's Ultraman Pjs! I loved it! It was so big and cosy! lol

beers and fried foods....ultimate guy bonding!
    *loves*
    ktv pub
    boys playing pool!
    Ultraman!
    ultra...............
    girl?! muahaha!
    it was so big!
I could totally be a super hero!

I cant're remember the date, but we did go watch the 3rd place match for the world cup. 3rd place is better than no place! And while waiting for Gary and Dom we had some dessert at Clark Quay's Nectarie. Yummm I've always loved this place, we tried a cake I'd never tried before with some brandy in it! Amazing! I super want the recipe for the crust!!~~~ if only!

LOL here's one of our laundry days! Laundry days are now and forever, officially deemed Pantless days!!! Once a week (or every other week) when Henrik runs out of underwear we'll do out pile of laundry! I have more than enough for 2 months, but im just an exhibitionist! lol

    seksy face
    seksy pose!

Random Photos: These are my fav Taiwanese noodles from my aunt who visited! They taste awesome and have preserved delicious meat in it. Yum!!!

Then I've discovered a new type of mooncake! It is purple (yam filling) and has a flaky crust! OMGGG *droolllsss* I can't believe I'd been so deprived!! I do still like the traditional ones with the double salted yolk though! omg yummmm!!

I roasted a mexican chicken! and a lemon bars! It was chewier than before! yay now i just have to perfect the pastry ;)

    lemon bars!

One day, I headed to the Peranakan musuem with Ravin and Dean! We went to see the Ramayana's special exibition for this year only! It was small but interesting. I thought the cultureal masks and shadow puppets we're cute and super colorful. Now I jsut have to go to Indonesia where they're most popular eh? hehe The staff at the Peranakan musuem were very friendly too! They told us about the 50% off discount on entry fees after 7pm ;)

    Elevator Up!
    I'm the next vana white!
    the story startsshadow puppets!
back of them which is actually really colorful!
paper mache masks and head pieces! They're glorious! putting every papermache I've ever done to shame! lol one of the Ramayana's travels
more super detailed masks!super nice painting
hahaha chubby was awesome back then!butterflies!

My pole dancing class started! Its so much fun! Now I know why people want to do it as their jobs! Pingy and Grace are doing it with me, so one day Pingy and I hung out awhile after class. We discovered jelly filled mentos! OMG its so good! It doesn't taste like a mentos really, but I like the fruity flavors that come with a burst of jelly! hehehe yum!

all the tanks lined up for National Day Parad Rehersal!

My Pastry took me out one night for a delicious dinner at New York New York! The menu has changed abit there :( but the food is still the same and the staff still friendly. We've decided to take my brother out one day to do their Ginormous burger challenge! It's a burger big enough for 4 people and if anyone can finish that plus the french fries in an hour, they get the meal free! plus a free rootbeer and a free t shirt! If you dont win, you pay $35 *gasp* But we believe my brother could totally finish it ;) Yay I can't wait!

    roas chicken and shrimp!
    baby and his burger

Henrik and I both had a new life calling when we decided to try the fried Mars bars. I'd heard of it before but never dared to try because it sounded so sinful to all kinds of diets!! Fried Mars bars are sooooooo amazing! If i could afford it calorie-wise, I'd eat one everyday!!!! Melt in your mouth chocolately, goey deliciousness served with a scoop of ice cream and fruit! YUM!!!

most delicious dessert on the planet!

Another virgin breaker that day involved cotton candy! Henrik had never made cotton candy before so he was thrilled to make a stick for free at New York New York! Yay! *happies*

    lol swirly

I finally got to try the Wendy's that is moving into Singapore by storm! One opened at Holland Village- just a couple stops away from wher ewe live! The chili tastes just like home! But I was a little disappointed with their burgers. They had no bacon burgers!! (stupid halal people....I dont see them not having beef because of the hindu or buddhist people!!) Dave would be rolling in his grave *tsk tsk* And their nuggets are super expensive! In the U.S. they were only 99 cents per box of 5 people! So I decided to keep that for the new spicy nuggets at McDonalds instead. Hehe, anyway I can eat that chili anyday!!! *loves*

Pingy, Henrik and I went to check out Marina Bay sands where the new casino is one day. We crossed the new pretty bridge with all the bright lights- I likes! THe new mall area is still under renovation though. Theres nothing too exciting there....just more stores we already have- but bigger. I did like the giant bowl to the fountain below though. It sends sounds to the other side. I'm sure theres a scientific reason for that and maybe I've even read about it before, but I don't care so much =x It's just fun! To Pingy: Wor yao fa cai! LOL!!!

we went o the soup/sandwhich place in citilink to grab a snack with Henrik
Not bad, but the soup spoon is more delicious and more generous!
Henrik's first time at the Suntec Lazer show!
Afterwards we went to Just Acia for dinner at Marina Square! I like it because it has pretty good food for a decent price and free flow of drinks and cheap tasting ice cream (but hey, its free flow- what can you expect lol) :D
Me and Pingy on the bridge! Great place to take pics!
ginormous bowl we threw monies down and (whkept whispering things to eachother from each end! lol good times! (you can actually see me if u look hard!)

Last but not least, my pastry took me out to get some sushi to put down my monthly sushi craving :D *happies*
