    Happy Halloween 2010!!

    Now, growing up in the US, Halloween has been a big, important event to me since I can remember! I'm as serious as death! (Pun totally and lamely intended!) So I will try my best to go all out every year as most of you know! It's my second favorite holiday after Christmas! This year, I went as.........WONDER WOMAN!!!! I hope to bring peace, love and Justice to the world! hehehe

    Now, Halloween this year came in 2 parts. One was the student Halloween Rave Underground that Desmond has organised for 3 consecutive years so far, and the other is the 30th/31st on the actual Halloween night! (31st was on a Sunday so we went out to play the night before! Which was all well as it half the night was on the 31st anyway! hehe!) So, the night of the Halloween Rave Underground, I got prepared/pre-drank with Simon, Erica, Alex and Fredrik! (aka cowgirls and Injuns!) It got out of hand even before we left with leaky squirt guns and makeup LOL

    in house cow girl maekup artiste
    Seksy white kiwi waiting to be transformed!Tada!! Now he's a true ethnically fabulous native american!
    BAM!!
    Cowgirls and an indian under arrest!hahaha dancing to cotton-eye joe!
    supernative american model! Making Tyra proud everyday!
    There was a show down! We got wet and wild!Team Justice!

    Then we met Susanna, Tiia and Johanna at the stairs ready to board the bus! The bus took us to literally, the middle of nowhere!! We alighted and there were some vampires to lead us to the "secret place". I hear there was supposed to be a crazy gorilla that would jump out at us, but then again I also heard that he may have ran off, not being able to handle the woods alone by himself. hahahaha
    The gatheringTerrorist!!!
    Wonder women!!!on the bus!! wooooo!!!
    Tiia and Diego, whom I like to call the REAL mexican!
    Some Asians I found on the bus whom I tried to get into the Halloween spirit, but probably gave them the impression that I was mentally unstable instead!hahah the Bus was male
    Starting the trail

    Well, we ended up at Mimolette. The club up at Bukit Timah! I can't believe we had to walk all that way either! Phew! The club was fun. There were 1-for-1 drinks all night, so we had good deals, even though they had stupid bartenders who give you 4 drinks when you order 2 (one to obviously be the free one!) Anyway, we met many people we knew and didn't know. There was very good dancing and I hear someone fell asleep in the bushes! bwahahaha!! (Not me la!) I must say, Halloween is a great time to hook up because its the only night you could go home with an ogre/ogress and not feel bad or embarrassed about it! LOL
    Wonder Woman and Flash!Bender!! Love it!
    SIA and it's repuation for beautiful stewardesses
    This feline shook "her" butt at me!

    LOL Siamese twins!After this night, I decided that all vampires/vampire wanna-bes are sleazyyy
    Yes, you too Edward Cullen!Pervy Vamp #2

    We ended the night with ordering from McDonalds which was more complicated than it should have been, and I think I might have made a middle-easterner angry by asking id terrorists wore jeans. LOL Ahhh well!
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Halloween night was double the fun! Jayce came over to prepare (She was Korean this year) and together with Henrik, we cabbed down to Zouk rather early so it wouldn't be like the last time where we couldn't get in due to over-crowdedness. We met our posse and so many fun costumes! I wouldn't say it was better or equal to the past couple years, maybe people have toned down a bit. We waited in line for OVER AN HOUR. And when we got to the door, half of our FULLY DRESSED group (some of us who spent A LOT on our costumes) could not get in for free. Zouk has been advertising for years that people who come in full costume could get in for free. Now they actually judge your costume in full detail and none of the people I thought would get in got in for free, save for me and Dom.
    outrageous lines!
    Seriously?! What a fucking gimmick! You have people go there, wait for over an hour in line all thirsty, and tell them they can only get in if they pay the night's raised prices?! FUCK YOU. Since when is Halloween an event for people to judge if you tried hard enough or not? If I wanted to go as my human neighbor who wears normal clothes, I bloody well can! And who the fuck are they to judge what the headless horseman, or Frankenstein really looks/dresses like? I seriously doubt the bouncers have seen them in real life *roll eyes* Hell, Dracula could be walking amongst us and they'll say his costume isn't good enough because he is in shirt and pants. I suppose they could be like, "ohh Zouk is a privately owned club, we have the right to do anything we like blah blah" I'm not saying that they don't or shouldn't have the right, to refuse free entry to anyone, but don't give the impression that if you have full costume on you can get in for free.
    Their flyer says: Admission by criteria: Free & priority entry for those in FULL costume (entry is not guaranteed if the club is full, so arrive early!)
    That is called FALSE ADVERTISING. They should loudly and clearly state that you must have a full, freaking awesome costume in the opinion of the bouncer/door bitch or arrive as a female not wearing any pants! I could suggest several more efficient ways to make their patrons more comfortable while waiting such as having a bouncer go through the block long waiting line and tell people in costume whether they would qualify for free entry or not so they can decide if they want to stay, leave or go straight to the paying line- saying that there were zouk staff meandering around doing nothing the entire time. Or, sell beer outside to earn more money- since obviously to make money, they're willing to discomfort their customers so much so that we will pay the entry fee to get a drink.
    Of course having been to Zouk on Halloween before, I know how crowded it gets because they let people in well over the fire hazard capacity, until you're packed like a sardine and cannot move. Thus, we weren't planning to spend the night there in the first place anyway (making the $33 for men and $25 for women even more not worth while). Someone needs to tell those cocky bastards that their club is not THAT great (*gasp*). There are plenty of other clubs, with or without "Singapore's best nightspot" award that are equally as good, equally as fun and much less discriminatory. And don't you worry, my friends and I will NOT be going to Zouk's Halloween for years to come!
    group pics!
    Vampires!
    Clarke Kent has an affair with Wonder Woman!!!
    So, anyway, we went to Clarke Quay where they had the most horrendous jam, but it was worth it anyway! We had sooo much fun! We found Simon on the bridge and got some beer and stuff. People actually QUEUED up to take pictures with me! LOL I felt like I was working at Disneyland or Universal studios! hahaha It actually isn't all that bad because I liked the temporary attention *blush* Though I did get a little tiring much later into the night when my cheeks were tired of smiling, but the people kept coming!!
    hehehe first thing I did at Clarke Quay- Free hugs from the Chip n' Dale guys!
    Ahhh Halloween, day you can show off your abs without being judged and made fun of like "The Situation" LOL
    HAHAHAH "Obama ain't the only one who wants change"
    Hells to the yeaaaa!!
    There were many really awesome costumes out there that night! There were even guest Djs that MCed for the Halloween event with live bands and contests in the middle of the area. It was near impossible to find a place to sit and drink. We found a not so happening pub and used their aircon for awhile, then resorted to drinking beer from 7-11 because we gave up with the other bars. hahaha. We met some boys we knew ;) Lennart and Yangs seemed equally as popular as well! I did manage to get one of the dead Chinese ghosts to smile though! ;) hehehe
    Phew! Rest at Mulligans!
    I met catwoman! *rawrrr*LOL!! Jerome Couldn't resist....so.....fluffaayy...
    Freaking scariest costume of the night!!!! The makeup and contacts (I think *shivers*) were like woah!!!
    tee hee, little pirate learning the trade!another little girl!! scary!! And her parents and what seemed to be older relatives also cam scarily dressed! LOL LOVE the spirit!using is x-ray vision to see through all the girl's clothes!
    Halfway through, a dead bride came up to offer me some candy. Ignoring my mom's teachings from my childhood to not take candy from strangers, I took one. I reason that Halloween is a night all about taking candy from strangers and I should uphold the tradition! Little did I know............her counterpart took my arm and said, "oh your candy says you've won!" He dragged me to a group of other monsters and heroes and chained me up as well. Being sporting, we followed him to a place he would not disclose for our prize! Dun Dun Dun *creepy foretelling danger sound*!!! We found ourselves being unchained and standing next to the Gmax!!!** We had won a free ride! We posed for a picture and before we knew it, were buckled into the seats inside a round cage-like contraption. My kidnapped buddies were also very sporting as we held each others hands getting more and more nervous/excited and maybe a little frightened. The butterflies in my stomach fluttered extra hard in my tight corset when I learned I had to be the one to push the lever to drop us, as the lever was on my seat! The steel ball with us inside it continued to be pulled higher and higher and when I saw the green light turn on that I was supposed to watch for, I pushed the lever. I don't think I've ever heard anyone scream as loud as we did sitting on the Gmax! lol I thought I would piss m pants! Turns out it was actually quite fun!! I guess it could go either way as a Trick or a treat eh? lol We were given a photo souvenir for the night!
    Intimidating!!
    The rest of the night continued happily with Shan, Jerome and the guys. We ended up at McDonalds for a late night snack tired from Partying. At about 4:30, we tried to get a cab but it was so crowded, it was a near impossible feat! On our way to see if there were any cabs at Riverside point, we met Susanna, Tiia and some other people. We decided to have more drinks with them so wait out the crowd. Even after an entertaining Subway run with a drunk white man demanding a Sub though they were out of bread (I know right, WTH SUBway!), cabs were still impossible to get! In the end, we were quite lucky to get one because his customer never showed and he took us instead! We got home a tad before 6am and were out like lights!
    I forget the chinese term for this, but daddy told me these construction women invented olive rice! Yummm!hahahha drunk something something with big earsBar hopping at Highlander!
