    Happy New Year!!!

Happy New Year my loves! I hope you had as wonderful a time as I did, ringing in 2011! Let's make this one a happy, efficient and prosperous year!!

On new year's eve, Henrik and I headed down to Changi to celebrate with the rest. Levyne had booked a table for 10 at Bistro@Changi. I didn't really know what to expect, but what we got was something I least expected! There was a DJ/MC encouraging us to play different games for different prizes all night! Of course the Singaporeans at the other table were naturally boring, bu at least our table was awesome! We competed in all the games and all their dances all the way till midnight! hehehe we even got a lucky draw winner!

Team "Skol" that later turned into team "school" against team "Kus" which we later renamed to "Kussen" LOL
new team leaders! How many can you fit into a sarong??
We lost because the other team cheated with children and EddIE refused to cooperate :(
game where you had to get a key through eachother's clothes...the other team cheated with children again :(
BUT, we got some good pics! LOL
good thing ah Ben's pants were loose! LOL
    LOL
Lun wins the lucky draw! Huat ar!!
    Boy's game!
    "3 feet, 1 hand!"
    2 feet!
    1 foot, 2 hands!
The hat game! (kind of like "hot potato" but with hats instead lol I think potatoes are more efficient
    cha cha line!
hehe they walked too fast for my 4.5" heels
    ending with the chicken dance!

Dinner was a pretty good deal. I had a poached chicken with half a lobster that came with potato wedges and a salad. The $40 meal also came with a slice of chocolate cake and wine. Fooswise was very very average. I did not like the poached chicken. It was literally just poached with no salt or gravy to go with. The lobster was average as well. The "clam chowder" was the usual starch you get in singapore, but the chocolate cake was delicious!

    Gil, Lev and EddIE
    Ben, Lun and Kennethmy dinner!

Dinner also came with "novelties" for the new year, poppers, masks and more noise makers that one can fit into their mouths! LOL Loved it!

    Goodbye 2010

When the clock struck midnight, people went crazy! We had 4 bottles of bubbly (2 champagne, 2 cheap stuff from the restaurant) that we chugged with love! a few giant confetti poppers were popped, people had sparklers, fake snow, silly string and a lot of love going around! It was an AMAZING night! Its always best to start your new year with the people you love!

    prepared!
    hoorayyyy 2011!!!!
    Snow and silly string!!

    Old loves.....
    New loves!!!!
    my fav champagne!
Lennart clearly enjoying the start to his new year!

We ended the night around 4am after supper at block 85 lol They had such good business there that night, all our first choices of food were either closed or sold out! Good thing 85 is popular for more then 1 type of food!

The pastry and I spent the night at my parent's since its a 10 minute walking distance from block 85 lol. January 1st was spent resting, watching tv, enjoying eachother's company and a big roast lamb for dinner! YUM! It was sooo delicious! I love you Cold Storage! Like I said, nothing is better than kicking off the new year with people you love.....and with good food of course! ;)

    the all meat lamb!
