    Happy Birthday Mr. Andersen!!

Happy Birthday to my Pastry!!! Henrik is turning 27! *Gasp!* Since his birthday is on Chinese New Year (Feb 3rd, Huat ar!!), we decided to have his parties the weekend before!

On Saturday, we went to Ooosters the Belgian Brasserie! They're famous for their beers and mussels! Henrik picked the place because they offer much more beer than Brotzeit! lol Most of us got there on time and we had such yummy foods! I had sausages and mashed potatoes with 500 grams of mussels. OMG everything was sooo delish!! My mussels were cooked in white wine and some vegetables. Yummm! I wish I could've had a raspberry beer, but I couldn't finish my massive glass of coke already lol. At least I had a taste and it was amazing! I definitely want to head back there!

    Pre-drinks at the bar!
    Hooray!!
Lun and Lev500grams of amazing mussles!!

We had a nice cake and all for the 18 of us! mmmm Chocolate! The Pastry was also very happy with all the presents and people!! *loves*

Birthday Songs in Swedish, Chinese, English, Maori, and Danish!Super delicious cake!!
Unfortunately, it was raining cats and dogs when we attempted to leave and ended up at another bar/cafe just down the street. It was super wet and not my favorite ambiance, but ok. It sheltered us away from the rain.

    buy one get one free!!!
lol me and my mini glass!
    boys!

To end the night, Henrik, me, Simon and the Swedes went to StereoLab to partayyy! The music is still okok there as is the crowd, but the whole guest list thing? doesn't realllly make sense. Anyway, AMAZING time!! AMAZING people!!

    fav Swedes!

    Birthday Boy and Katie!

most amazing snacks that has ever been invented!!

On Sunday, we had Birthday celebration with my family! For brunch we had delicious sand which spread from tuna to egg mayo and alot of cockles for me!!! YUM

During the day, we shopped at Carrefour for Chinese New Year. It was muchos crowded but muchos fun. I made sure we had most of the stuff on the list! I think the staff in Carrefour are super rude though. It was rather nice to shop here when I first moved here, but now it seems like any other trashy Asian grocery store. There's the wet fish area that smells, not a lot of western foods that use to be available there, and the whole fresh/smelly fruits with the shouting food sellers. Wth.

Anyway, I saw some drink promoters snap at a customer when they bumped into him while moving their sign. Then when the customer spoke back to them, the loudmouth chickened out and tried to cover his insult with "oh no sir, we're just trying to sell our drinks". Idiot. Then, when I was buying sushi, the two girls assumed I couldn't understand Chinese and started giggling about me, about god knows what (probs my lower cut tank top which is what most girls like to stare at anyway). Anyway, I just stared at them real hard and I think they realised I understood what they said. I for-definitely will complain to the store right after I'm done with this post. No one wants to shop at a rude, smelly grocery store. If only old Storage wasn't so expensive, I would shop there all the time!

Ah well, more to happier things. Daddy made an extremely wonderful dinner for Henrik! There were 3 kinds of his famous, delicious, juicy ribs!! corn, coleslaw, broccoli, mashed potatoes and the best clam chowder in the world!! It was sooo scrumptious I don't even know how to explain the amazing flavors that come from the seasonings and slow roasted meats!! *burps* The Pastry was extremely satisfied! :D

    Ma famille!
most suculent ribs in the universe!
    *happies*

Dessert was chocolate cake with presents! I really have to stop buying cake from the store across the street. They started off with really amazing cakes, especially their black forest cake, but now their standards dropped! But at least there was still chocolate and strawberries to appreciate! Plus the pastry loves anything sweet and cake-like.

    birthday song!*loves*
he got all of them...which means...no girlfriend!! LOL (or at least no extra! ;))

Fun times, I love my family and I love my sweetheart! Happy Birthday Baby!! I love you and hope you have many more amazing years to come!!!

LOL one of the best birthday presents everr!! Thanks Lynx!

P.S. I was super unhappy with extremely impolite friends. Since when was it difficult to let the host of a party know that you will be late or not able to come? I booked 25 seats at the restaurant and you had my other friends waiting for you for more than an hour and you couldn't be bothered to have the courtesy to pick up the phone and text? Yea, you know who you are if you're feeling guilty. Its so rude to not only me and Henrik, but the restaurant and the other guests as well. You should be ashamed of yourselves because apparently your parents didn't teach you better. Common courtesy guys, common courtesy.
