Hooray for my 201st post!!! Thanks to all my lovely readers for reading and caring! My arms are dying as I am typing this-all just to entertain you because your life is just that boring! haha!!! =p The reason why im aching all over??...you're just going to have to read till the end of this post wont you! hahaha

Tuesday was another shisha day! I met some of the girlies for dinner at crystal Jade for some xiao long bao first! yummm!! We actually intended on getting satay, but we couldn't find any in bugis.............not even the store on google maps lol. maybe next time.....

Anyway, we ordered a double apple shisha and grape with mint. I reccomend never to try grape with mint. after awhile it just tasted like...dirty water or something =.= next time, just listen to ipak's reccomendations. In the end we got sweet melon with mint which is qickly becoming my second favorite flavor! ;)

After shisha, we went down to Mustafa the 24 hour mall in little india! It was my frst time actually stepping in the mall after all the times in little india just walking around it. It was really crowded! which is surprising for a tuesday night at 11pm! They had a huge variety of everything- shampoos, perfums, bags, stationary, vitamins etc etc. Wooo I had to catch the last tran home so I didn't get to venture around the whole place.

Wednesday I went to Maarten's brithday get together at some indian place down Pasir Panjang road with Henrik and the girls! Well, we all know how I feel about indian food, so I'm not going to comment much...but I did like the cheese filled flatbread (I have no idea what its caled). And it was better cheese than the sandwhich kind they like to put at the common cheese prata stores. After we had finished eating, people went to Dbl O while Henrik, I, Lasse, Matthew and a few others stayed back for beer. We couldn't stay out too late because we were going to Batam, Indonesia in the morning! =D

    cake!
our table...there was another long one...maarten must be popular!

I think the waitress thought we were fat because she removed our plates when they werent done serving food! I didn't know they werent done though, i was full lol

    beeerrrr

Yeap! thats why my arms are so tired!! Early Thursday morning (7:45am omg!) we met the group and headed for the ferry terminal at Harborfront. Caught a quick breakfast to-go, checked in (or out lol) and ate/napped on the ferry over.

    Tobi looking thoughtful

A van picked us up at the ferry terminal and drove us to the wakeboarding place like less than 5 minutes away. hahaha. It was a cute outdoorsy place. More like a ginormous hut/shelter made of wood including the furniture. Infront of it was the big lake with wire lined around it for the hooks to pull the wakeboarder. There was a small suntanning deck at the edge of the lake and bathrooms were surprisingly useable =D

    white people using protection!
    wakeboarding contraption

I had the hardest time getting on the rope all day!! It was so tiring. The struggle to wiggle down the bench (where the rope starts to pull you) with a wakeboard strapped on was already terribly arm straining for me =.=" It was still alot of fun though! Around 12 (Batam time) we had lunch that was pre-ordered. The food was very good and came in a large ammount. I also got tanned which I wasn't expecting due to the rainy season-but quite happy about it. My nose and shoulders did end up a little burnt which I can feel more than you can see. Ive always never turned red.....just brown and browner and even more brown, working my way to black! LOL

me flopping my way back....you can pretend youre a mermaid!
    Henrik on the water
    everyone flopping their way back!
    Gerrit and Lasse boarding together
someones really happy. I have nice legs lol
the guys back from the other end
    booty hurting!

Anyway, I still had a lot of fun! And I even got to see/pet monkeys! They had some chained in a cage. The monkey I played with was so curious and friendly! *loves* Ive decided I want a pet monkey one day! I will train him to do trick and mix cocktails for me!

    me greeting the monkey
    2 cute monkeys!
    friendly monkey climbs me
monkey tries to take off the towel!! =o
    monkey sniffs butt instead
Daniella is afriad the monkey is evil lol

Around 7 we were driven back to the Ferry departure terminal (about 20 mins away different location from the first one) We bought gum and cigarettes! muahaha! I can't recall the ride back because I slept most of the way. We finished the day off with dinner at some coffee shop near pasir panjang road. The food was great too! (or maybe I was just hungry) I had stir fried chicken with dried chilies :D My hands shook when I picked things up so I used a fork and spoon for dinner. hahaha I had so much fun! *happies*

bikes they brought people back in when they fell at the far end of the lake

Friday my arms were so sore I could hardly open the door. LOL we took that day to relax. Apparently Subway is open 24 hours at NUS during exam period! muahaha yumm!!

    really good lunch/breakfast

Saturday Henrik and I went out with Phy and Kev! Phy brought us to the shadiest place in Singapore for dinner. It was near mustafa and was "chinese" food. In my opinion the food had the texture of mucus and was kinda gross to eat. I hate curryyy. The only thing good about that place was the price of $4 per person =x My opinions aside, Phy, Kev and maybe Henrik liked it.....

found Kev at the top of the longest escalator everrr
    dinnerrr!!

After dinner we wandered around Mustafa!! I finally got to walk most of the crowded 24 hour mall. They had a huge jewelry department and pretty much only sold gold! They also had a grocery department that was pretty interesting. Henrik bought a indian custard apple to try (we googled it...supposedly its quite useful for a lot of things....and it tasted pretty good) , some lotion for me and assorted snacks =D

us in the toy department lol

After Mustafa we stopped by the Singapore flyer to get some mashed potatoes from Popeyes and headed to Marina Reservoir to check things out. Its the new reservoir they made pretty so people can enjoy the view. There were pretty lights and fountains and pavaillions around the place. The view-as expected- was absolutely breath taking *happies*

    Baby
going up the rampknda dark, but the esplanade is across the water

side note: Marina Reservoir has the grossest restrooms ever. What is wrong with people these days that they are incapable of using a toilet correctly?

When the time came, we went to Minds Cafe at Selegie to play board games! I had so much fun! The first game we played was my favorite vampire game. LOL We all had the single 2 hour package that includes a drink and a snack! After the 2 hours, we had a jug of beer at the bars directly outside. Not too bad....about $20 a jug =D

    Christmas lights on orchard! *happies*
    boardgames!
    watching soccer

We ended the night by going to Henderson waves at Mt. Faber. The winds were right, the view was right, the company was right! Love you guys!! Helllooooooo Panda!!!

    Mt.Faber
    Henderson Waves
pic of the sleeping securty guard we took. hahaha
    snack time!

On Sunday, Henrik and I went to se Rec. It was an OK movie, I didn't like the spinning of the camera much.....it made me a little dizzy. There were a few scary parts though, and I liked how Pablo the camera man was not seen throughout the movie. Not sure if I want to see Quarentine (english version of Rec) anymore =/ Pam's rating is a 2.5/5

After the movie, we went for a kebab snack at Clarke Quay! yummm I love those! it was kinda crowded so we sat by the river instead of at the store. Im not complaining though, cuz it was pretty! *loves* After that, because we had nothing better to do (everywhere was closing early due to it being a Sunday night) we went to sing KTV at Partyworld on orchard! hahaha

Big beautiful tree at Central mall!
delicious kebabs!!! yummm I had chicken and Henrik had mexican (spicy) chicken ;)
    Party world Ktv!
    shyyy

When Ktv was done, we played pool at Cineleisure. It was pretty empty except maybe 2-3 other tables. Henrik even got them to change the music to english for us. hahaha....I have to admit, I got my ass whooped, but mayyyybeee its cuz I like to let people win =x

he likes to put the balls in the holes ;)
    playing the claw machine

Before we went home, we had some coffee at Gloria Jeans. Apparently their staff is lazy because they wouldn't bring our coffee to the table though we were the only cuztomers and already sitting. But, no complaints, the coffee and cheesecake were still good! *happies*

    looking thoughtful with a mustache!
    baby and his scone

Ending with a really cute song by the Jonas brothers. hahaha you know you love them too!

On a serious note, Daddy was sentenced to jail today in which I think it the most ridiculous charge for. He and his friends were charged for wearing a t shirt depicting a kangaroo in a judges gown....... "Kangaroo court" which was said to "scandalize" the court. Gee, I didn't know the court was so easily scandalized and insulted over little statements. I think its an embarassment to this so-called "first world" country to so openly flaunt the fact that there is no freedom of speech and expression.
