    Hey guys! My the time flies! I've been too busy to do any blogging, but I figure I should put one up before my trip to Thailand on monday with Ravin! I'm afriad I don't have enough time and stuff will just start to pile up! I'm actually supposed to be helping jayce bake her croquembouche (she was supposed to be here at 10), but since I highly suspect she is still sleeping, I'll do a little update! hehehe

    In the past 2 weeks:
    Grace and Jayce came over to play! We had a really fun day with chilling out, doing what girls do and playing in the jacuzzi! For dinner we had Danish style roast chicken in cream. It's pretty much my favorite Danish dish and Henrik had translated the recipe for me! Just the blend of lemon and cream and bacon and chicken = YUM!!! Grace made poached pears in wine served with ice cream for dessert. That was amazing too!

    Girls' time!
    grace stripping!!!
    little neighbor, me, Jayce!
    jacuzzi!
    *loves*
    ~~~~~~
    kitchen time!
    before
    after!!!!!
    My favorite traditional danish dish! Estragon roast chicken, ITS LIKE YUM!
    poached pear with vanilla ice cream! *loves*
    This month totally feels like Christmas because I've been getting so many gifts! LOL Jayce recently came back from her trip in Korea and got me face masks, a cellphone chain and cute korean nail clippers! lol love it!
    The pastry and I went out one day to Orchard. We did a little shopping (I couldn't find the shoes I wanted :( *sadded*) and I got new underwear! We also tried this drink stall called HappyLemon that a friend (*ahem* Dom) had reccomended. Some people like to say it's delicious. Some people might say it's something new. I would say it tastes like crap! So I chose one of the "highly reccomended" or "specials" from the menu, which happened to be chocolate with pudding. Now, I really like chocolate and I really like pudding (and boy, do I REALLY like chocolate pudding) but there was something wrong with each. The chocolate part tasted like diluted milo. For $4 a drink *gasp here*, I DO NOT expect one to be cheap on the chocolate. and then the pudding was literally just plain (vanilla?tapioca?) pudding put on the bottom of your cup that would go up your straw when you sucked to give you a surprising chunk of mucus textured goo in your mouth. For those who like the chinese mucus curry rice, you'll probably enjoy this drink (minus the chocolate part you wont enjoy). Ohhhh Dominic, you better find other new food/drinks I shoud try to regain my faith in your suggestions!!
    In the evening we met up with Dom and Gary for a yummy subway dinner and starbucks after. Loved it!
    Now, as you all already know, the wolrd cup is on!!! I'm betting for the Netherlands to win this year!! (that and the Germany seem to be really good) Once again, solely because of how incredibly hotttt the teams are! A soccer player I've come to like is the Danish goal keeper Thomas Sorensen. Yum, he's hott too! (minus the last match's performance =x)
    Anyway, the first Monday the Danish team was playing, we went down to wala wala at Holland Village with Dom to represent! Henrik wore his jersey and I wore the glasses! I even painted my nails in little Danish flags for the match! Nonetheless, we lost. The pastry said both goals could've been avoided though.
    excited pastry!
    soccer girlfriend!
    check the nails!!!hellz yea!
    We went to Beerfest Asia 2010!!! Held behind the flyer, there was beer from all over the world, bands, soccer, games and food! It was super fun! The only thing bad was the kebab I had. Well, generally all the food was bad, boy I could've used a sharwama that we use to get in Copenhagen! Henrik Had alot of fun on his mission to try as many different beers as possible and still make it for the 2:30am danish match- which they won!! woo hoo!
    On the way there!! all geared up to win!
    we saw the NDP pass by!
    Beerrrrfestttt!!
    some of our first beers! I super loved the taiwanese one (right)! It was melon beer! It didn't taste like beer at all!! just sweet sweet melon with a strange, yet wonderful after taste!
    fire works our right when the Netherlands won!!
    ka-ching!!! we had to cash in cash to get these chips....un-used chips were refunded at 80% =o
    Besides that, I thought it was a horribly stupid idea because it took so much time to queue to change money -and people don't know how much they should change or spend there- ended up with changing too little and then having to queue again. THEN apparently the food has to be bought with these chips too! There were no signs and no one told us! So we queued for like 15 minutes only to be told they didn't accept cash, having to go back to change cash for chips and re-queuing for yor food. This happened to many many people!! Geez, if you're trying to earn off of drunk people, at least do it in a convenient fashion for us!
    beer for "men" according to its seller lol
    food stalls! (they had more on the other side) man was that swiss butchery store disappointing!
    Boy, do I miss those juicy bratwursts in WI (for only USD1!) and Berlin (for only 1 Euro!)!!!
    hot dog eating contest!! I thnk the winner ate like 18 in 5 mins or something!
    eek! this one was too strong for me, but Henrik's fav!
    Hells Bells!! WoW these women can rock out!
    his other lover called making him officially the happiest pastry at the beerfest!
    hahaha a drunk guy everyone was taking pic of/with.......so we joined in =x
    shitty beer to end the night lol
    *love*
    Lev, Lun, Gary, Lennart, Henrik and I went to KTV in Bedok! It was really fun and realy cheap at $2 an hour in the end. They even had current music like Lady Gaga!! hehehehe!! We ended the night at Botak Jones- their food is still muchos amazing!!
    I love this pic! tho my pastry is completely hung over, it still turned out adorable!
    *Happy Father's day to all the wonderful, loving, caring fathers in the world!!! *loves* How one generation loves, is how the next will learn to love ;)
    I went for lunch with Nichelle and her ex-colleague at fish and Co Paragon one day. It was actually a lot more delicious than I remember! And the staff were super friendly and helpful! *gasp* Now I can consider going back!
    Afterwards we went shopping! Helloooooo Coach Sale!! Our wonderful day ended with Pingy coming over to have dinner with us!! *love you girls!*
    *happies*
    yum! I have a new found love for these!
    I found this pic i took of this steamed tofu I made. the meat was kind of hard cuz I cooked it longer than it should've been cuz im deathly afraid of eating bad pork, but I thought it was very pretty! will ask momma cuz I remembered hers was much tastier!
    I hung out with Jayce one day!! We were buying supplies for a Croquembouche for her God brother ;) Nearby the cake supply store, she introduced me to a Korean store! They have a bunch of imported foods and drinks and chips that you can sample! I'll definitely go back to get some kimchi!
    fibre drinks! Yum! Jayce bought me one to try since I was suspicious towards them.
    It tastes like orange soda! hehehe
    dinner at QQramen house that sucked.....:(
    Afterwards, we went to Mr. Beans to watch the game with the gang!! I can never stop laughing with them! Laughter is the best medicine for everything!
    One Saturday, we hung out at Nichelle's house! She has 5 puppies and they're freaking adorable!!! I haven't had a sleepover in forever!! It reminded me of the good times with gossip and doing our nails! Only there were boys around this time. LOL *Loved it!*
    love them!!! My fav is Blackie (far left) with the musatche! Sweet and cuddly!!!
    2 more pets! hehehe
    *loves!* the puppy got wayyyy too comfy (--,)
    heeHee! Puppy abuse!!!! It was too tired to defend itself!
    awwww!!!
    SO, momma and daddy went to Manila for the new president's inauguration and we went to send them off! We spent the rest of the day with my brother and sister! I discovered that Sarpino's actually have better pizza than both Pizza Hut and canadian Pizza! Woot woot!
    still on his "diet"
    *~*Stay tuned for updates on my Bangkok trip!!*~*
    I can't believe Michael Jackson has been dead a year already! It seems just like yesterday I heard the news and thought it was a joke! RIP Michael.
    Something you might or might have not known about him:
    Michael Jackson has two stars on the Hollywood walk of fame, one for himself, and one for The Jackson Five.
    Interesting facts for the world cup fever:
    No European team has ever won the World Cup outside of Europe.
    Also, only countries from either Europe or South America have won the World Cup
